Assuming they were there to look at Jontrey Hunter, a S/LB.

Forget to log out of your random regular account? Steen a RB?

We're going to a power running game! 🤣

Am I the only one who doesn't want Cooper DeJean. The scariest phrase you can hear about any CB prospect is "Might be better as a safety." I remember hearing that about Malcolm Jenkins coming out, he sucked as a corner, was moved to safety and thrived.

I want someone who has lockdown corner potential or I prefer to just go OT in the first round if that option isn't available.

It depends if you’re drafting them to play CB or S.

DeJean being drafted as a safety is really intriguing. Drafting him in the first round to be your top CB is risky.

They say that because he is white.  He's 10x the athlete Jenkins was.

The common fan is now a peasant. This is way too corporate and IMO, takes away any sort of home field advantage they may have had. I'm sure all of those suites and cubs will be full of loud, rowdy fans who want to make noise.

It's the Arizona Cardinals. Those old heads will probably have a blast in the Garden Center

Jeff truly is all about DEI. In the office, and on the field.

Found the new song they are going to play on 3rd down

Fair enough, and I think we grab a guard with one of our top 4 picks. And we need the depth with Opeta and Driscoll being gone. Steen is the backup RT is my guess, so if Lane goes down, he'd kick out there. I'm not saying Steen is a locked in starter, but I'm not sure why people think he was a failure last year. 3rd round pick switching from tackle to guard was never going to see meaningful snaps as a rookie.

The ideal would be to bring in a RT prospect who can cross train at guard and push Steen in TC while also being the long-term answer to replace Lane.

Kingsley Suamataia out of BYU is that guy, and a player I expect the eagles to target in the first round.

Perfect body proportions at 6’4” 326 lbs with 34 1/2” arms, very athletic, just needs technique work which is basically our edge with Stoutland.

Hit the road Jack

What's his RAS though?

I like him too, a lot. Needs coaching but has great physical talent. A perfect successor to Lane. Has played both LT and RT, I believe. He needs some more strength and he sets a bit high but a year with Stout and the pro weight room will take care of that. He's one of the most athletic OTs I've ever seen. Reminds me of Walter  Jones.

Man, you were a Browns fan in 2016? So you joined this fandom around the time we won a superbowl? Then you want to act all high and mighty like you know so much more than us about the team we’ve followed our entire lifetime? Cmon dude, this is why we don’t like you. We have watched Howie’s entire GM career unfold, we know his MO. I’ve begged for years at the tv on draft night for him to take the CB or LB, only to grab another linemen. You keep telling us OL isn’t a 2024 need, thing is WE KNOW THAT. We want the CB! or the LB! Or the S! We all want defensive help. But we also see all the writing on the wall. Howie likes to draft succession plans in early rounds because he’s done that in the 2019/2022/2023 drafts, Lane is at end of his career, we have a ? at RG, it’s a strong OT class in the 1st round, Eagles have an extra 2nd round pick, to help out other needs on roster, Howie loves lineman. We are trying to get that thru to you. You should be debating all of this with Howie Roseman, not us.

Many years of not caring enough about the NFL to type on message boards.

2013 Raiders - Terrelle Pryor is when I started on NFL message boards,  and I went to all the teams message boards where he went.  I still pay attention some.

2015 Browns and Pryor.  I still pay attention some.

2018 -  Ravens and Lamar.

2021 -  Eagles have Hurts and add Tyree Jackson and Khalil Tate.  When they added Jackson and Tate at the same time,  I jumped on board here.  I was telling the Ravens to add Tyree Jackson and Khalil Tate.  They didn't,  but it was the Eagles who,  somehow,  brought in the 2 players who I wanted.  So,  thumbs up to that,  and I started being an Eagles fan,  in addition to being a Ravens fan,  and I'm still currently a fan of both.

What's normal here is,  when Eagles fans are unhappy,  they just relentlessly attack the Eagles, trying to destroy the Eagles,  hoping for losses, and trying to get everyone fired.  Instead of going to find a team they like.  But this is really just a really really angry internet version of some really really angry local sports talk show.

Other NFL message boards don't have a whole bunch of typing about the local NBA team,  the local MLB team,  the local NHL team,  and cheesesteaks.

I'm not trolling,  I want a certain type of football,  not the boring generic type,  and I work to talk that into existence.  It works sometimes, not other times, and the worsening seems to be happening in a lot of different places.

Driscoll and Opeta are gone.

Unless we acquire Dillard, get ready for OT in RD1. Fautanu please

I believe Vaitai is a free agent too. But I expect the Eagles will add OL in the draft. I think any more free agent moves will be spent at DB most likely.

I think he is a perfect fit for safety

First round is too high for him

This reminds me of an old joke...

There is a senior citizen driving on the highway. His wife calls him on his cell phone and in a worried voice says, "Honey, be careful! I just heard on the radio that there is a madman driving the wrong way on Route 280!" Her husband then says, "I know, but there isn't just one, there are hundreds!"

There are some interesting OTs on the board, namely Yosh Nijman and Josh Jones.

nah just me doing me

Kinda surprised Eagles let both Opeta and Driscoll walk. I didn't think they would be revamping the O-line depth that much and would re-sign at least one of them. I can't imagine they get good money either.

The Eagles safest bet would be to play him at Nickel to start.  I do think he has the skill set to play outside some.  He's definitely a better safety prospect.

It kind of is a tell on what they will do in the draft though.

I like Fautanu, but as a RG

Mosher and Caplan said the Eagles had some interest in trading for Desmond Ridder. They also said the Eagles weren’t interested in Kam Curl. Mosher again mentioned interest in Julian Blackmon.

I still wonder if they bring another OL in during second and third and even after the draft waves of free agency similarly to wiz in 2016 when he was signed in April. Frankly if Hennessy is healthy i think he’s better than both Driscoll and opera though. There’s some guys out there like zeitler, Laken Tomlinson, andrus peat, dalton risner, vaitai, Leno, whitehair, dillard, Connor Williams and Trent brown. Some aren’t good anymore but some i think are fine as spot starters or backups.
