Mosher and Caplan said the Eagles had some interest in trading for Desmond Ridder. They also said the Eagles weren’t interested in Kam Curl. Mosher again mentioned interest in Julian Blackmon.

I still Ridder would have been an interesting developmental qb

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

I still wonder if they bring another OL in during second and third and even after the draft waves of free agency similarly to wiz in 2016 when he was signed in April. Frankly if Hennessy is healthy i think he’s better than both Driscoll and opera though. There’s some guys out there like zeitler, Laken Tomlinson, andrus peat, dalton risner, vaitai, Leno, whitehair, dillard, Connor Williams and Trent brown. Some aren’t good anymore but some i think are fine as spot starters or backups.

I'd imagine they just reset the pipeline and bring in young talent to develop for cheap. They already have Fred Johnson and Hennessy as veteran backups, and Steen very likely could be backup RG/RT after the draft.

I disagree. I think he’ll be the best tackle from this year’s draft…after a redshirt year.

It kind of is a tell on what they will do in the draft though.

You think they will pick some college players?

I think if stout identifies a guy in free agency he thinks he can mold into a solid backup/starter they’d take a chance if he was cheap and not much guaranteed. Kind of believe it would occur after the draft to see where they are with whom they drafted.

If he jumps every out route without safety help and wags his finger around all day, you have Jalen Mills.

That's pretty much how he plays too

Julian Blackmon would be a W if only for depth purposes. Allows us to bypass S in the draft.

And constantly being mugged by defenders on every play

In Stoutland we trust. if the Eagles take him in the first round, it'll be b/c Stoutland lobbied for him, and Howie listens to Stout. For good reason.

I like him too, a lot. Needs coaching but has great physical talent. A perfect successor to Lane. Has played both LT and RT, I believe. He needs some more strength and he sets a bit high but a year with Stout and the pro weight room will take care of that. He's one of the most athletic OTs I've ever seen. Reminds me of Walter  Jones.

Curious, how would you rank the following "tier 2 and 3” OTs? Do you think there is a significant difference in upside between them?

Mims

Fautanu

Guyton

Suamataia

Morgan

Paul

Personally I like Mims and Suamataia the most followed by Guyton.
