I don’t think you ever watched him play.

Last year Corley played against Ohio and went 8 for 88 and a TD. He played against Auburn in 2022 and went 12 for 99. In 2021 he played against Michigan State and went 7 for 69.

In all of these games he was clearly effective against big time football programs. Of course, he was limited by playing with a weak team.

But this nonsense about him not being able to hang with the big boys is disproven by simply watching him play against teams like Ohio.

he doesnt look that strong to me. I get he tries to break tackles, but theres a big difference between trying hard, and truly being a dominant runner.

I know one thing for sure in the Corley v Deebo debate…there’s no way Corley is as big a dewshbag as Deebo.

hopefully not. thats a plus.

IMO, I don’t like having a slot specialist.  The easier you can characterize an offense, the easier you can stop it.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying every wr needs to be interchangeable….but I wouldn’t go out of my way to force it and find a poor man’s Wes Welker for the slot every year.

There will be packages where you want AJ Brown in the slot and the #3 out wide.  And I know you all say I’m speed obsessed, but this offense presently lacks a true take the top off guy.

Have you actually watched him play?

His TD against Ohio was him steam rolling a defender in the red zone. Unless you think #6 Ohio State and a top 20 Michigan State team weren’t tough enough competition, I don’t see how you can question his strength. He bulldozed tacklers, stiff armed wannabe tacklers, broke multiple tackles with spins, used balance to gain extra yards after being tripped up, etc.

Anyone interesting in some imaginary numbers?  Irrational numbers?   Complex numbers?   There's so many options.

"i" hands the ball to "2i", who gives it to "4 + 3i" on a beautifully executed complex double reverse!

I wore "pi" for a faculty vs seniors basketball game about 15 years ago. I wanted to wear " e to the pi i" just to be goofy but the people in charge of getting the jerseys made thought it was too complicated (even though it isn't really that complex- haha math joke). It was really fun watching the ref signal my number to the scorers table when I committed a foul.

Dont think hes as successful with that in the NFL. Hasnt impressed me.

It's just harder to find guys that can play inside and out. Ladd can probably do both.

Not sure if anyone has ever told you this, but your jersey number choice was irrational.

Malachi Corley — unique run after catch ability using both elusiveness and power. A RB with the ball in his hands. One of my favorite players in the draft. Second or early 3rd round.

Roman Wilson — top speed threat in the tradition of DeSean Jackson. Explosive in the open field, quick and dynamic wi the the ball in his hands. Second or early 3rd round.

Xavier Legette —Height/weight/speed freak of nature. If we want to start grooming an AJ Brown replacement, he would be an excellent option. Late 2nd or 3rd round.

Johnny Wilson — 6’6” 230 pound men should not be able to move like this. Reminds me a lot of Plaxico Burress. Late third, early 4th maybe?

Jacob Cowing — the traditional small, quick slot receiver. Good hands, impossible to cover when running short routes. Also has 4.3 speed, so offers a deep threat. Probably can be had in the 5th round.

Ainias Smith — smaller slot receiver. Effort/utility player who can line up as a RB, WR or PR. Very physical. Willing blocker and special teamer. Good after the catch. Late round, maybe UDFA.

This is a great draft class for WRs. There are tons of other players I like, but these are different types of players you could find at different areas of the draft.

I doubt they go small slot after the OZ signing and regression of throws over the middle last year.  All the signings to future contracts were big WRs as is Parker.  The WR in the 30 visits so far is 6’3” Brenden Rice.  Speed, routes and size.  Really want to see him in Eagles Green.

I would agree in the first 4 rounds.

After that you start having to make some serious compromises and you have to consider their special teams utility as well.

If you can get a pure slot specialist who can also return punts/kicks and work on coverage units, then it might be a better tradeoff than a boundary/slot tweener who doesn’t play special teams.

Could be, these are just the players I like at different levels of the draft.

Angie.  Regularly post her stuff.  A definite follow on X.  She is cute but I love her football knowledge and the stuff with her and her disabled (or challenged or whatever the politically right description is) brother is heartwarming. Aligned with Barstool but frankly the fact some pregame show hasn’t signed her up is amazing to me.  Her skits are hilarious.

Absolutely horrendous. The blue is so dark it almost looks black and makes them look like the Falcons.
