Perhaps, but he also struggled down the stretch with only 2.5 sacks over the last 6 games. Also, will he be a 15 sack guy at 31 and 32? I'm just playing like devil's advocate here and trying to get inside of their thinking. As I said above, I think they simply chose Huff who is three and a half years younger than him and projected him to be the better player moving forward. They also invested a high pick in Smith and need to find out if he can play.

The other issue is if Reddick can't drop into coverage, he's really not an OLB, and Huff can give you the same production as a pass rush specialist who lines up on the LOS or with a hand on the ground and he's cheaper and younger.

Sweat is a legitimate 4-3 DE who lines up on the LOS as a 3-4 OLB. And Graham is a cheap pass rush specialist off the bench for 250 snaps.

Smith is more likely to develop into a true OLB who can line up as a 4-3 WLB, 3-4 OLB or stand up pass rusher on the LOS, which has more value to Fangio b/c he can move around and disguise formations. Same with Baun off the bench.

That’s awesome of Hurts…but how the hell does one get a 4.1 GPA?

AP/honors courses can bring you over 4.0 gpa.

Today's mock.  Alt somehow fell

What do you think of Tip Reiman?  I think he is the best blocking tight end in the draft and has some pretty good athleticism.  Wouldn't mind him in the later rounds to help the run game be even more effective.  6 foot 5 271 pounds and did 28 reps on the bench.  4.64 40 time

Well if reddick demands an extension that they dont want to pay…

Let him play on the final year of his deal and let him walk. He’s not a bad guy I don’t think he’ll be a locker room problem.

An A+ in an AP course is a 5.0

I don't have to look to assume this is a white guy?  I can't imagine there are too many black guys named Tip.

In ten years they'll be left with one that follows the bench staff.

If there’s a RB one next year, our guy is probably on it

And then Sirianni forces Kenny Gainwell into random scenes and situations including the final 2 minutes of each episode

Kelce got his own documentary. I enjoyed "Quarterback." Mainly for Kirk Cousins who is quite possibly the whitest man in America...and one of the kindest.

He's a human being with actual feelings. He felt underpaid *last year*.

I think the major safety move is done with CJGJ.  Howie is probably happy with him, Brown, and Blankenship…I don’t see another major move this offseason.  They may draft one in the later rounds.

unless Brown got hurt and will miss a good part of the season.

CJGJ can also play nickel, right?  If the Eagles are lacking at nickel,  CJGJ could move there and some other player could play safety.  Cooper DeJean is my first choice for the 22 spot at  the point.   He could go in and play in a number of different places,  like where the Eagles happen to be weak.  Use him to keep those 40-50 PFF cbs off the field.   If you look at the Eagles CB pffs from last year,  you think "wow,  the Eagles have a lot of bad to terrible cbs"  and they're still on the team.  So,  you aren't going "there's nothing there, fill it up with draft picks"  there's already a lot of bad to terrible cbs.  I think the Eagles are thinking that these guys are under contract, and hopefully they all get better, or the best will emerge.  Cooper DeJean might be able to come in, whereever the Eagles might be having the worst problems and fix it by playing there.   He's listed in some places at CB and others at S and he was consensus All American.     The Eagles should bring in a healthy handful of new CBs and Ss to the roster to make up the 90. Some of those UDFAs will be cut,  others will make the practice squad,  others might make the 53.  I'm looking at UDFAs.   Found a couple of interesting Safeties.  Cam Allen from Purdue.   HS QB,  Safety in college.  Won the state championship,  was responsible for 61 TDs.  Mock draft database has him at 442,  udfa.  His numbers aren't great,  but there is a very solid 6.78 3 cone and a good shuttle.  I'll compare him to Covey,  another state championship winner as starting QB.

Covey v Cam Allen as WR - Purdue Safety udfa 442 MDD.  very similar in some respects.  both had 3 greens.  10 split,  shuttle, 3 cone.  Cam Allen is bigger,  with better jumps.   Allen is similar to McCaffrey in weight,  both 200,  Allen an inch taller,  both are strongest on the 3 cone / shuttle side.   At this point,  Cam Allen would be on my UDFA to get list as a Safety.

Advanced Placement courses.  Because of college level difficulty, the courses carry a higher GPA.  Both of my kids graduated high school with higher than 4.0.

Kind of crazy in a way. Howie has given out numerous contracts on potential alone. Hell he just gave out money to a 27 year old RB that has an injury history on potential. Reddick shows that he's one of the better players on the defense and Howie baulks

I thought they did that already? Didn't he want a new deal last year or the year before?

Well tough. And what if no team out there is willing to pay him what he wants either?

Reports are he wants 25m and no one’s giving him that I don’t think.
