Ok I love the Barkley deal

Atlanta and LA always made the most sense to me. If LA doesn't want to do it, then he fits Atlanta.

The Falcons could draft Turner at 8 and still trade for Reddick and not block anyone. Their EDGE group is awful.

Falcons, even with Kirk, can afford Reddick in 2025 without much issue especially as Grady Jarrett retires/gets cut.

If they were willing, I'd take 74 and swapping 2nd round picks (50 for 43).

Advanced Placement courses.  Because of college level difficulty, the courses carry a higher GPA.  Both of my kids graduated high school with higher than 4.0.

I don’t think we’re going to get a great return for Reddick. Maybe a late 3. A lot of teams’ cap space and liquid cash have been spent. There just isn’t enough of a market to drum up a bidding war.

Did he already get permission to seek a trade? So he knows what has been offered? It's messed up but I hope everyone lowballed him so he can stay

Trading like I was Howie

If no team out there is going to pay Reddick what he wants, it makes a trade pointless. Maybe that's what ends up happening. No team out there values Reddick more than the Eagles and they either meet in the middle or he plays on the final year of his deal. McLane said he wants 25 million. I can't see any team giving him a 10m/year raise.

Is he will to play out his contract here?  If so, why trade him?

Has anyone bought any nice kelly green bucket hats that can send me a link. The eagles pro shop doesn't really have a selection

He's not going to just play out his deal. He was unhappy last year and had a mini hold out. Now he's still unhappy and more vocal about it. Plus they just brought in Huff and paid him MORE than Reddick despite just one year of double digit sacks while Reddick has that the last 4 seasons in a row.

If he were to stay on the Eagles you are looking at minimum a pay bump to his current deal.

While I don't disagree overall.... If they want him, they could make it work.  In addition to us eating the bonuses, they could extend and restructure.

What a deal for the Chiefs

You're never going to get a great return for a veteran pushing for a big extension. Teams don't want to give up high picks AND overpay.

But either he returns, chastened b/c no one wanted to pay his demands, or they get something back and clear future cap room.

He'll play out his deal b/c it's a contract year and sulking will cost him millions of dollars when he becomes a FA.

What happens if Atlanta offers the Eagles a 3rd but they're only willing to pay Reddick say 17m per season?

Would Reddick be ok going there? Would the Eagles trade him? Would they go back to Reddick's camp and say at that price we'll match?

The elite pass rush of Reddick is going to be sorely missed

AP courses save money and offer greater class selection in the long run.  The grade "inflation” also gives greater selection of colleges.

Wrong

Players hold out all the time. It's a business. It won't cost him anything unless he holds out an entire season.

Missed it a ton in the 2nd half of last season too.

If no one else is willing to trade for him and pay him his number, he really doesn't have a choice. If someone out there were willing to pay him $25 million per year, he'd have been moved already. Eagles could guarantee his salary and add an incentive for double digit sacks, but unless they are getting a 3rd or higher they aren't going to trade him.

Depends what Hollywood Brown they're getting; he was really lousy last season for ARI.  574 yards in 101 targets is really bad.

Yeah if they’re thinking they have a championship window, they need to do whatever to make him happy this season

Wrong

If no one is willing to pay him $25 million now, how's it going to look when he's a year older coming off a year where he mailed it in?

He will stay away from voluntary OTAs, and the team will give him a face saving contract adjustment if they can't move him.

Sure he does. He holds out until the Eagles come to a number on a one year deal he agrees with. He's not going to just throw his hands up in the air and say "welp, that's that. Better show up to play for the deal I'm not happy with".
