Depends what Hollywood Brown they're getting; he was really lousy last season for ARI.  574 yards in 101 targets is really bad.

They had below backup caliber QB player last year when Kyler was out, and even worse when they dropped Dobbs. Plus Hollywood missed the final 4 games when Kyler came back. I don’t think last year is reflective of his potential contribution as a WR. Two of the previous 3 years he had similar targets for over 700 yards.

but still, it is a bit odd that a perceived deep threat has sub-12.0 yards per reception for his career. He has less ypc than Jason Avant

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

If no one is willing to pay him $25 million now, how's it going to look when he's a year older coming off a year where he mailed it in?

He will stay away from voluntary OTAs, and the team will give him a face saving contract adjustment if they can't move him.

That's my point. He's not just going to play out his current deal as it stands now. If the Eagles try to force that, it's not going to end well.

Sure he does. He holds out until the Eagles come to a number on a one year deal he agrees with. He's not going to just throw his hands up in the air and say "welp, that's that. Better show up to play for the deal I'm not happy with".

They'll do something small for him -- guarantee his salary and add some incentives. The latest CBA made holding out much more difficult.

I don’t think we’re going to get a great return for Reddick. Maybe a late 3. A lot of teams’ cap space and liquid cash have been spent. There just isn’t enough of a market to drum up a bidding war.

So keep him

OK, I agree the Eagles will give him a face saving move. Easiest way is to guarantee his $14.25mm base (none of that is guaranteed now) and maybe add a $2 million bonus for 10+ sacks.

To be fair, the person throwing to him had to stand on a stool.  Kills the accuracy.

The fact that he is still here, and now rosters around the league are close to set and teams spent cap space, makes a trade a lot less likely IMO.

If he gets traded, I bet it's right around the draft.

The bears have been making a lot of silly moves.  Has Howie called the bears?

I am being fair.  Breece Hall had 591 yards in 95 targets and he's a RB, with Aaron Rodgers taking 3 snaps last season.

Hollywood Brown just isn't all that good.  $6-7M is a good deal for KC; I'm not arguing the overall point .... but I don't think he's worth much more.

If Eagles made deal with Atlanta point chart of Eagles trade Reddick, 53 (370 points), and 120 (54) for 43 (470) and 79 (195) is roughly early 3rd round value.

424 points vs 665 points

241 points is equivalent to pick 70

I really dislike this type of trade for Reddick.  I'd rather get an additional pick, rather than just higher picks.

If you're talking about Murray, they didn't play much together last year. Maybe a 1/4 of the targets were from Murray considering he was out for the start of the season. Dobbs and some other guy were the culprits.

Chris Jones held out even into the season and missed games last year. Even with getting fined every day. Different situation but hold outs still happen. And look, he got paid a monster deal eventually even though holding out.

Even if Reddick doesn't hold out the traditional way, do you want him showing up and doing the passive aggressive routine? Or skipping out on TC days and blaming an injury like he did last year?

This whole thing isn't going to get put to bed without something making Reddick happy enough. Eagles are going to have to do something, that's all I'm saying.

Also the Owners meeting is next week. Trades sometime happen then. So it's not a surprise they pushed back his bonus past the Owners meeting date.

Well if you make the move ahead of the draft then you can easily move down down to get even more value/extra picks.  Or you might like this even better they could package 43 and 22 to move into top 10-11 range

Arthur Blank is 81.
His GM is entering his 4th season, having never made the playoffs, and just gave a ton of money to Kirk.

They can absolutely squeeze the Falcons.

That's true.  But, that always requires other teams to be interested in moving up in the moment that you want to move, and then, you have to be able to get the 'value' for what you are trading to match up with the 'value' you got for trading Reddick.  That's extra complicated.   I'd rather just get an extra pick and not have to play those other games.

Speaking of Falcons, the schedule is probably already penciled in but Eagles/Falcons in Brazil makes some sense after their FA.

I thought it was Browns?

There's more chance they cut him than there is they'll guarantee another $14.25million to have him play out a contract professionally, his cap hit for this year is already number 9 for Edge rushers in the league.  You could maybe give him a bump to Top 5 but the argument he's underpaid is a genuine argument, he was about 15th for sacks last year and his run support doesn't compare well to the Edge's who are above him, 9 is arguably high for where he is right now.

Guy in video said he read somewhere it was Browns but nothing has been confirmed

Guaranteeing his salary doesn't change his cap number

Good. Bills can have him instead of Blackmon.

Of course it doesn't, sorry heads up my ass Today.

The overall point stands, he isn't underpaid.

What's the deal with Blackmon's shoulder?  I read it was pretty significant and happened late in the season
