It would take at least a 1st because LV would be taking on $15mill dead cap on top of losing their best edge rusher, he's a good player, but I don't think he moves our needle enough to make that trade worthwhile.

It likely would have to include a 1st or more.  Asking the Raiders to trade Max would be akin to a team asking for Kelce from the Eagles a couple years ago.  I’m speaking from a locker room leadership and fanbase love perspective.  Add in the fact that Crosby’s position demands more value and it’s a pipe dream.

And even if it was possible, I’d say no.  We have greater need at oline and CB and I wouldn’t want to part with Reddick and high draft capital for another d-lineman…even if he is better

Yeah I honestly don’t know his contract situation at all, especially as it relates to the Raiders and their cap. Just having fun with the Reddick situation.

I wish they’d just work it out, but if not I was thinking of other pass rushers.

Since when does Caplan break anything? Hey, I hope he's right this time. I'll give him credit there if it happens.

All the time. Two days later.

OT- Has anyone watched Warrior on Netflix, or Cinemax?

You have to.

From the writings of Bruce Lee which is daughter found after his death. She is involved in making the show.

Andrew Koji is a brilliant martial artist. Its a kung fu, mixed with western set in 1870s San Francisco. Depicting life during times with tumultuous racial relations between the Chinese and whites, and the Tong wars.

This show is full of brilliant characters and story arcs. Not just great fight scenes but overall very well acted. Amazing production.

Way too underappreciated. Cinemax made 3 seasons. Netflix picked it up now and hoping theyll create a 4th season, and more.

Its a must watch. One of the best shows on neftlix.

I watched some of the first season. For what it is, it is definitely entertaining.

He had sources that told him about it but he was too lazy to report it.

Not that impressed with him, tbh.  He's a gadget guy but doesn't possess breakaway speed.

not a fan. short. not that fast.

Ran high 4.4 or 4.5 at the pro day. He says he can compete with Xavier Worthy if healthy. I dont see that kind of speed in him. He looks to have short area burst, but loses it very quickly and seems to turn in to a 4.9 runner.

Some of his punt return TDs begin with muffs that he picks up. Great returner with questionable ball security.

I suppose the eagles just want someone who can make their WR screens a success. This guy may be it. But thats about all Id espect out of him. A KeVontae Turpin type of player, but not nearly as fast.

Eagles drafting in the 20's, top 30 visit with a Receiver, Short, not as fast as claimed

BAH GAWD!!....THAT'S JALEN REAGOR'S MUSIC

Reddick has overpriced his market, big surprise.  His sacks maybe influence a dozen plays per year.  But although he pretty much rushes the QB, he isn’t a DE. Too small at 6’1” 240 lbs. Limited on sealing the edge and visibly not happy at being asked to cover, which he isn’t very good at.  So they signed Huff as a DE. 6’3” and 255.  Huff can seal and what differentiates him and Reddick is his pressure rate.  That is as important, if not more so, than sacks.

So a team running a 4/3 would likely look at Reddick as a SAM that can’t cover and a team running a 3/4 would likely look at Reddick as a rush OLB that can’t do much dropping into coverage.  That limits the defense disguises. That lowers his contract value.  That also may impact his trade value.  I suspect that is what Reddick’s agent found.  I suspect that is what Howie told the agent when asked about an extension and asserting he outplayed his contract.  Reddick gets $4 million+ in bonuses this year plus $14+ million in salary.  His play last year did not reflect value more than that.

The only TikTok videos I see are the ones my girlfriend sends me. And I only watch those to remain out of her doghouse. 😂

I really hope we can get him. No idea where he gets drafted, but most projections I’ve seen have him in the 5th or later.

One thing I love is how tough he is. Not a big guy, but he’s willing to hit players twice his size as a blocker. Absolutely fearless catching with defenders bearing down on him.

Combine that with having WR/RB versatility, being a great return man, and coverage STs utility, and he would be absolutely perfect taking the 4th or 5th WR spot.

Glad the players are just as aware as we are as to how whiny of a beeyotch fanbase the Niners have.

Struggling to get excited about this draft tbh

Can anyone change my mind?

Oh not just the fan base. It’s why Fletcher cox said what he did to Deebo after they lost. That whole organization sucks. I respect Werner, cmc and even purdy. They were the only ones that didn’t cry about it.

I don't think the Eagles' asking price is the issue at all.  The key is Reddick wanting a new deal.  If he had a deal worked out with another team, they would make the trade.

This suggests its the Eagles asking price

It’ll get closer and when we make a selection you’ll either be fired up or pissed off.

I felt for a while that the Eagles were going to value him more than what they were going to get on the market. So the conclusion i thought would ultimately happen is something like the Cardinals did with Buddha Baker. Where they gave him a slight pay increase in his current contract to smooth it over for the year And have him finish out this contract.

Yea, I don't think its Reddick can't find a deal. It might not be a $25M deal he was looking for, but it's probably more/longer than what Eagles are willing to do. If he was on the street as a FA he'd probably be signed already.

Landon Dickerson, 2nd round pick, just got 80M. Our drafts have been fine.

He's going to be a day 3 pick most likely. He won’t be a super star, but he will be a VERY useful player for whoever gets him.

He is just so versatile. He can be a highly productive slot receiver. He has great hands. Great run after catch ability. He can line up as your 3rd down RB and create mismatches. He can return punts and kicks. Extremely willing blocker despite his size.

Yes, he is limited. He doesn’t have blazing speed and he isn’t going to win a lot of jump balls. But as a 5th or 6th round pick to be the 4th WR? Sign me up all day for that draft pick.

They are betting he garners a third as a comp pick next year.  So value has to be more than that, I suspect.
