Campbell and Parker are great signings, they're cheap, so if they don't perform, who cares?

But they have size and speed, NFL experience and enough success that they might produce in an offense where they'd be the 4th or 5th option and matched up against inferior defenders. I mean Campbell was in an awful situation last year.

They're better bets than the usual SFAs and UDFAs who simply lack NFL athleticism.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

If you guys haven't listened to ITB yet you are really missing out. Some fantastic Caplan intel like "The Eagles pushed back Reddicks bonus because they didn't want to pay it. They wanted to give them some more time."

Great stuff.

Oh and if you weren't aware, teams care about Ca$h. Caplan breaks it down perfectly for the 1,500th time in a row now.

Not in a specific order, just the 6 on the roster. Looking at that, olamide is very plausibly WR3

Please stop posting ridiculous nonsense.   The reason that Worthy looks great as a LB, is because he's 5'11" and 165 lbs (which you'll note is not just bad, but HORRIFIC for a LB) and he's got an agility advantage over every LB in the system, because its much MUCH easier to be fast and have COD with such a tiny mass.  So, while his agility is impressive (evaluated in a vacuum), when compared to true LBs, he's completely the wrong body type to play the position and would likely be KILLED on the field if they ever tried this.  Equally, comparing him to Reddick as a LB is stupid, because we all know that Reddick is NOT an NFL LB.  He's a liability on the field in that position, because he can ONLY rush the passer, he can't drop in coverage and we've got more than enough evidence of that going all the way back to his time in Arizona.

Big important question for playing LB... has Worthy ever tackled ANYONE in his life?   Has he ever tried to tackle a guy like Derrick Henry running directly at/over him?

You have become a punch line.   This doesn't add to any conversation.

What a monkeys paw curse it would be to finally get rid of Quez Watkins just to replace him Paris Campbell

He’s an upgrade over quez

Parker's deal was $0 guaranteed so not sure why people hate the deal as 95% chance he's getting cut.  Campbell was a 4.31 guy a few years ago and did have some decent games in years past.  Obviously was a sh!t show last year but was also a pretty good kick returner if I remember correctly when he was at OSU

There's something about ITB that really bothered me and I just recently figured out what it is. They don't break nearly enough stories to have the graphic of their show two people on their phones like they're Adam Schefter.

Parker isn’t fast. 4.45 forty a decade ago and he doesn’t get open. He’s a possession receiver. Basically insurance behind Brown and whoever else we bring in. I have my doubts he even makes the roster.

Campbell on the other hand is still relatively young and has true elite speed and solid size. I think he could be a good pickup.

Brown, Smith, Campbell and a rookie in the top 100 would be a decent group.

Yeah, but the thing is... Parker needs to make the team in order to get that money.  There's zero guarantee from the Eagles, so he's a camp body, until he proves otherwise... and at league minimum if he does make the team... and they have a stipulation that basically cuts that number in half, if he ends up on IR.  That's about as team friendly a deal as you can get.   Add to that, I think he's eligible for the veteran minimum offset, meaning while he can earn the full $1.2M, he won't count against the cap at that number, but rather at a slightly lower rate (this was added to the CBA to encourage teams to keep veterans around by making them about the same cost as the younger players who have a lower minimum salary).

Edgerrin Cooper has the most upside of any off-ball LB in this class. There is no first round LB.

Payton Wilson is the best LB by a mile. But his injury history is scarier than Landon Dickerson's.

I don't see how his is scarier than Dickerson's.  He's been injury free for the last 2 seasons.  Dickerson was coming off of back to back ACL tears.

And if he is, he costs $0 to the Eagles.  Nothing to be upset over.

Some people had interest in him.

This is the WR they sign? lol ok...

He's barely an NFL player. Why not just go after Cedrick Wilson?

Actually on second thought I guess they say he had 600+ yards in 2022 in a better offense, maybe they can get something out of him. But most of his career he's been an absolute zero and is only 26.

Clearly payback for Stoll

No one is upset. The deal is absolutely nothing. You can still not like the player, especially at this stage of his career. Both things can be true.

I think it means they believe there's better talent in the draft than some other options more expensive options in free agency.  If all we have at WR behind AJ and Smith are Campbell, Parker and Covey, I will be concerned that's not enough.
