Because they medically flagged his neck.

But that doesn't excuse JJAW over Diontae Johnson/Terry McLaurin.

My one friend who is an R-words fan immediately texted me.  Was telling me we just got our red zone target, dude is a jump ball monster, etc.  So I got a bit excited to see what he can do.

Looking back I wonder if I was just being trolled.

Yea I'm fine with them skipping DK because of his injury. That's an understandable red flag not to draft

I wonder how many organizations operate like this. Wouldn't have worked out either way, but how do you not just get the highest rated guys on your board regardless of position? Could've just drafted AJ Brown(well, a small move up for him).

This is absolutely horrible. I knew his darling analytical dept had a huge say in things here. F'n terrible

A healthy Barkley is a top 3 RB in the NFL. He is really, REALLY talented. He was also in an absolutely horrendous situation with the Giants. Garbage WB, garbage OL, garbage receivers… he was basically their entire offense.

If he’s healthy — and it IS a question — I think he can be an all pro level player here with our OL and passing attack.

He also doesn't have to worry about playing on turf for half the year.

Boom goes the dynamite

I would estime he's a 4th/5th round target.

The really stupid thing is all of that should have been decided before the draft. It just makes no sense for there to be an argument or fight over two players at the same position while on the clock.

No need to kid ourselves, there's far more dysfunction behind the scenes than they let on. We've seen plenty of evidence of it over the years.

Careful now. It starts off as fun and games but eventually you'll be doing a weekly radio spot on 105.3 The Fan

Will be an excited crowd at the draft in Detroit.  Coming off a great season, they'll be lots of optimism.

Also, we won the SB 10 months after the draft was held in Philly.

Who you got ahead of him?

I think he will be the 1st LB but is mostly based on potential.

Wilson is a tier or 2 ahead of him as far as playing the LB position is concerned.  Injury questions of course.

As players,  Colson, Eichenberg, and Trotter are all better LBs.

Cooper to me looks less like a good physical and athletic Van Der Eash or Kuechly, or Warner, and more like a finesse chase down Alex Singleton type. Similar in coverage too. Not a man cover guy.

Lol I read that as opium and did a double take

Less relevant now.  However,  it might explain why he hasn't been all that good.  He wasn't a pass catcher in high school,  he was a running back.   His background is in running back.   So,  if someone is saying Parris Campbell might be jet sweeper guy,  because Kellen Moore likes jet sweeper guys,  his background as a running back would match what Moore wants.

Additionally,  this message board has tons of Phillies, Sixers, Flyers content,  and that has nothing to do with the Eagles and yet,  there it is,  and few mind.   High school background on player the Eagles just got is more relevant,  and not pointless compared to so much completely not football content.  Not saying I care about pointless content being here,  just saying there is a ton of pointless content here.  People often use all sorts of message boards for time kill.

Thank you so much for posting this. I was happy that most of my amateurish opinions on a lot of these prospects was pretty much born out by these guys, who know a lot more than I do.

Thought it was interesting how they are pretty down on Guyton.

And the nuggets about the Ohio State pass rusher was an interesting one too. He beat Fashanu, he held his own against Joe Alt. And somewhat surprisingly, he was well handled by Mims.

Mims is the guy I think Howie wont be able to pass on. And Id be ok with it despite how raw he is.

Im afraid Howie could get tempted by Guyton if Mims is gone. And Im afraid because Im not sure if Guyton will turn out well.

Also, the Arizona OT who doesnt get a lot of pub, Morgan? Theyre higher on him than most. Their description reminds me of Tra Thomas. He will need a little work in run blocking, but is a great pass protector already.

Is Cooper the best off-ball LB in this draft class?  If so, there's not a chance in the world he's on the board at #53.  At least one off-ball LB gets chosen in the first round virtually every year.

No, that is probably Payton Wilson.

Speaks to his skill set and possible versatility no reason to be a stick in the mud.

Payton Wilson has a body type similar to Carson Wentz or Josh Allen.  Not much muscular development, either.  No way would I bet on him staying healthy as an NFL LB.

Campbell is not going to be our WR3. At least I would hope not.

Is he more of a risk than Quez?  Has quite an injury history.  Broken foot, PCL and MCL, sports hernia and broken hand.  Is that injury prone or just plain unlucky?  4.3q forty speed, about ten pounds heavier.  Knows Siri.  Could hold down the slot until Brenden Rice is ready.

I have to say, I love those stats in that tweet. Because this puts my mind at ease now that they wont need/want to target Corley. This is exactly how Corley is used. He runs no routes. Its all screens and sweeps. We got a guy who is faster and ranks highly in missed tackles.

We can now focus on real WR depth, and not worry bout gadget players. That role is filled.

I can’t think of 2 worse receivers to sign than Parker and Campbell.  My lord

Could’ve signed JJAW and reagor… but yeah it’s not great

I’d be more comfortable with him being a 4th or 5th option ahead of Parker. I think it’s almost a given that Parker doesn’t make the team however. I think they will draft a WR of Moore’s choosing in the middle rounds.

He's 100% going to be Moore's jet sweep guy. Moore loves jet sweeps. Will be refreshing to see them with Sirianni never using them, but Chargers fans complained he loved them a little too much. Like calling jet sweeps on 3rd and 5+'s mulitple times throughout the season. Apparently the jet sweep to him is the bubble screen to Sirianni if you believe Chargers fans.

While this probably takes Corley out of the picture, I wonder if this type of player being such a big part of his offense could mean Worthy is in play.

Versatility is not to be taken lightly with RR he was just trying to compare a college WR to Reddick

Funny that Douglas had AJ Brown pegged as a slot guy. What an idiot. Its no wonder the Ravens never had any good WRs. Those rankings are idiotic.
