He's a versatile weapon.   He's fast,  won the combine,  etc. He was a running back in high school, running for 1500 yards.  He's under 6'0 and he's over 200 pounds.  He's about the same size as McCaffrey.   Doesn't have McCaffrey's excellent 3 Cone,  but the rest of his numbers are better than McCaffrey.

He was a running back, is really fast,  probably not a great route runner because when most of the wrs in the NFL were in hs,  they were practicing running routes.   At Ohio State,  he was probably the weapony wr, not the big wr or the great route runner.

So,  bubble screen,  that's what they chose to do to get the ball in the hands of the fast weapony guy.   Kellen Moore apparently likes to use jet sweeps.   So, expect that.   Parris is a big upgrade over Quez when it comes to runs.  Quez was the closest thing to weapony guy the Eagles could recognize was on the roster,  and he wasn't good at runs.  entire career with the Eagles,  4 carries,  4 yards.   Parris Campbell had a yards per carry of 9.8.   I'd want to dial that up over and over.

Kellen Moore also likes 2 running backs.   Parris Campbell was an I formation Tailback in high school. QB under center,  pitch to Parris Campbell who runs outside from the tailback spot 10 yards behind center.  And he's 4.31,  so that should work well.  Pair him with Barkley.   You can see Campbell running between the tackles in high school.  You can see McCaffrey running between the tackles in the NFL.

ras compare McCaffrey and Covey

Did you write all of that unrelated stuff just to try and disguise Covey slander?

I like Covey,  I didn't like the direct compare of Covey to Campbell.   I like the Covey to McCaffrey compare.   Covey is not as big and is not as good a jumper.  But the things that McCaffrey is most notable for,  the moves, quickness, agility,  is something that Covey is also good at.   Campbell didn't do the 3 cone,  and Covey had a really good 3 cone.  McCaffrey and Covey are almost the same at the 10/20/40,   and Covey was better at shuttle and McCaffrey was better at 3 cone,  McCaffrey being tops at that,  while Covey was not as good but still excellent.

I don't see where the slander comes in.  I mentioned Covey before the draft.

Covey was a high school QB.  Won the state championship twice.  Undefeated.  Over 1000 yards rushing both years.   A high completion percentage.  Overall,  good QB.  But he's short, so you gotta figure it's not going to be easy to get a qb job in college.  So he was a wr,  and had 184 catches, 3 passes, 3 completions, 2 TD passes, 518.8 passer rating,  49 rushes.    He could catch, run, throw from this versatile back / 2nd rb spot that Campbell is also playing.

I think he just wanted to write "weapony” as many times as possible.

Blankenship started 15 games but how many did he finish? Seemed like he got hurt every single game. He's fine but you can't have Blankenship and nothing. CJGJ is a better nickel, and again always hurt. They should sign Simmons to start opposite Blankenship so CJGJ can start at nickel and play as the 3rd safety.

Going into the season we're probably going to have Blankenship, cjgj, and a 4th/5th round draft pick. Then by week 4 one of blank or CJGJ will be hurt and we'll be starting a rookie or signing a bum off the street when we could've had a much better safety.

Unless they find a gem in the draft we'll be looking back at this FA period mid season wondering why we didn't sign one of the better S

Nevermind, after seeing this I realize we basically have the same opinion. The only issue is that CJGJ I'm pretty sure said he was signed to play safety, not nickel, so while I think this is by far the BEST combination because Gardner-Johnson looked amazing at nickel, I figured that was out of the question.

The way I've explained it to somebody is that playing from even with someone like corners do is a lot different from playing downhill towards someone, or on waiting for them to come to you. This is easy to prove, not every corner that plays press man or bail is the same as when they play with lots of cushion. It's kind of the same here if you think about it, right?

I think if Gardner-Johnson is able to be on someone's hip pocket, he's pretty good. But coming from downhill, especially to get physical, is not exactly his cup of tea.

Yeah, my fault. Didn't realize that you were onboard the nickel idea since like I said, I think he turned it down pretty directly.

If its not a typo, Zinter measured only 30 3/8'' arms at the michigan pro day.

Khyree Jackson is actually pretty much 6'4''. 6'3 7/8'' with 32 3/4'' arms. Thats crazy length at CB.

Sounds like Woolen

Purdue DT Malik Langham

6'4 1/4'', 302lb, 33 1/3'' arms 4.96 40 yard

Not bad.

That should make a trade for Lattimore or Horn very affordable if Sneed only cost a 3rd.

If the titans were interested in Reddick they no longer have a 3 to offer.

A 2025 3rd is way less than I expected for Sneed, we probably aren’t getting anything for Reddick

A 3 plus making him one of the highest paid corners in NFL history.

If Sneed is one of the highest paid CBs in NFL history, might take them out of the Simmons running too. Maybe not, his market seems to be weak we'll see.

Oh, it’s a 2025 third rounder? That’s really surprising.

Looking at it I don’t think they had a 3rd this year to use in 1st place so used a next year’s third.

someone mentioned potential knee issues.

Luke Benson. Chalfont native. Georgia Tech tight end transferred from Syracuse.

6'4'' 233lb, 4.43 40, 35'' vertical.

Are they available?

Not sure if it was posted. Kinchens improved his 40 time at his pro day. Combine 4.65. Pro day 4.57

So the Chiefs in all likelihood could have kept Snead and collected a comp 3 next year. Obviously Tennessee’s 3 will be better, but still.
