Just use the free trials available out there.  Peacock will likely offer one, if not, Amex offers them.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

Caller on WIP just now:

"Alright guys, I'm gonna break down this Schwarber situation. Schwarber hit 100 RBIs hitting lead off with no one in front of him. You move him down to 3rd and he'll hit 300 RBIs. It's simple math. Because he'll be hitting with guys on base."

He called in super confident too. The dumbest callers are always the most confident in their takes.

2 games on Christmas

This is all leading to an 18 game season and two bye weeks... and Dallas never getting shoe-horned on a short week or international game.

Just awful.

This further solidifies my theory that there will be a Thuraday Night double header the week before Christmas and the two games played then on Christmas will be different matchups but same 4 teams from the Thursday night double header.

Lame and lame. Although locally it still still be NBC for the opener.

Only if you are in Philly broadcast area.  Here in the center state, we aren’t considered local.  I get Peacock free through Comcast but otherwise this would suck.  (Although with NFL+, I can watch a game as soon as it finishes and pretty quickly the shortened game that is just play, not the long BS in between.  I found with Sunday ticket I wasn’t getting good value and replaced it with NFL+ years ago.  Gives me the coaches film, which is why I bought it, plus the ability to see more games than Sunday ticket provided.

Jeff McLane said Reddick could stay, but the Eagles absolutely do not want Reddick on a 21 million dollar cap hit and Reddick wants a raise. If they can find a way to give Reddick a little bit of a raise while lowering his cap number they could work something out if no teams out there are willing to pay Reddick and/or no team is offering what the Eagles require in a trade.

I foresee Howie restructuring and adding a lot of void years

What, stealing from corporations who are using market power to steal from you?

That way lies anarchy! (where did I misplace my black flag . . .)

He already has void years through 2027. By rule they could add one more with a restructure.

I liked the analysis where someone on the board noted that the NFL referenced 230 instances of tackles that could be penalized from last year. There should be a great meme series that starts ~8 games into the season when the 231st hip drop tackle offense has been called (72 of them for the Chiefs).

Maybe there is a tiny thought of putting Dickerson at Center.  I don't think it will happen but maybe they are contemplating it a little.

He played Center in college and when he was drafted there was chatter of him replacing Kelce just like when they drafted Jurgens.

I know Dickerson at Guard has worked out really well and 99% sure Jurgens will be the C but maybe Jurgens hasn't looked all that good at C.  Just because Kelce helped draft him doesn't mean he's a lock to be good.  Maybe he's struggled at C.

 He's already a 2-time All Pro at Guard. He ain't getting moved. Stop it.

Yes, thanks to the great Taco Bell inflation

This is the season of misdirection and misinformation.  Doesn’t want to reveal anything going into the draft so teams are guessing at his picks.  Said this about C and RG, listed the multitude of pass rushers, heck mentioning Patrick Johnson before Reddick.  Mentions Baun as a target for his multiple areas of play, including off ball.  Says how Bradberry striving to be his 2022 version, while praising Slay following the best receiver and mentions all the CBs.  So the speculation of who he might draft, sign etc. maximizes his hand as to trades etc.

In other words, it’s Howie speak, pure 🐂💩.

Deception is key to combat strategy. Got to keep 'em guessing.

Why people get bent out of shape is beyond me, after almost a decade you'd think Eagle fans would just shrug their shoulders.

yes. The more I add additional streaming services, the more expensive TV becomes and at some point it no longer makes sense to have gotten rid of cable.

Its also the principle of it. Im not gonna keep paying more and more money for the privilege to watch NFL games.
