  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ad profiling gave you Depends,  huh 🤔

Yeah it did.

Comes with the territory of helping to take care of an elderly family member.

IMO, Howie would be reluctant to go CB in the first round because of scouting uncertainty.  He's stated that it's difficult to scout safeties.  I can't imaging CBs being that much different.

Focusing on OL and DL in early rounds has been pretty fruitful lately.

Look for OT in round 1 and then CB, Edge, etc. on Day 2.

Lots and lots of edges.

Is there any limit to the number of edges?

If you keep the same edges as you had the last year,  and then add 2 more,  one really expensive one,  Bryce Huff,  and another one, Zach Baun,  does that mean that more are needed?

Even if Reddick,  as everyone expects, is gone,  the Eagles probably don't need another one like that.

The Eagles lost DT Fletcher Cox, and didn't replace him.  2nd round might be good for that.  If the Eagles used a pick on an edge, it might be for someone on day 3 who they don't expect to play next year.

Sweat 366 pounds might be interesting.  A bigger Davis but without the amazing numbers.  Putting a 341 and a 366 pound guy out there at the same time could be additional versatility.

Outland Winner.

That doesn't sound like Howie at all. He's more likely to take 0 LBs in the draft to spite us all.

Maybe because they have Nakobe Dean with the green dot again this year,  who plays every down, and they have, for the other spot,  Devin White, Ben VanSumeren, Oren Burke, Zach Baun, Bradley.   Because they have 5 players for one open starting spot,  they might not want to spend draft resources on that position. On the Eagles last year,  Dean + VanSumeren were about average.

However,  the Eagles have picks and LB is a position.  And there's no reason the Eagles couldn't use a pick at any position.

The strength of the Oline gives the team the ability to develop players. On the other hand...Dillard.

Fun fact: Stoutland signed off on drafting Dillard

Did they bring Bradley back? I didn't hear anything.

I assumed.  there was a Bradley tweet a while back.

you would have to think that with a 90 man roster,  there will be players who are in camp who don't make the 53 or the practice squad.  I'd assume he'd be there.  Brandon Smith also has good numbers.

He posted some nonsense on Twitter talking about how people were lucky he got hurt last season or something, and that he was coming this year. So assuming he's back

Why?  Let’s put the injuries aside.  Campbell and Nick know each other.  Campbell is faster, has better hands, and is bigger.  OZ was a challenge for Hurts in the slot because of his size.  Rather have Campbell.

Was it because of his size or because this offense doesn't utilize the middle of the field correctly? Both?

That tweet was from months ago while they were still playing.

There’s been nothing else since that suggests he’s coming back.

Howie makes his big deals on Easter Sunday.  Wasn’t it on Easter when the Eagles got a 2nd and a 4th for McNabb?

Maybe today will be Simmons signing day and Sunday will be Reddick trading day (still concerned about trading him at all)

There goes that trade idea

Was the site down for a couple hours? Ive been waiting to post this masterpiece.
