Eagles could take an edge in the first round this year and honestly wouldn't be shocked if they did in 2025 either. After all, Bryce Huff only signed a 3 year deal and will be 28 after his deal ends and forbid they pay a guy like that who would be earning money into his 30's.

5 straight first rounders on the D line baby, LFGGGGG.

I think they have Latu high on their list. Bigger style end which we do not currently have. High energy player that can drop a bit too. Plays the run well, it's not a secret the front office and coaches weren't happy with our current ends in that dept. Also mature, seems to be a great locker room guy and leader. Finalist for that Lott IMPACT award. I think they are looking for the next crop of future leaders and Latu has some intangibles.

I think he's a solid depth player a step above Milton Williams.

Good grief, no.  Milton Williams has been twice as productive with fewer snaps

Who are the TEs we should be looking at this year?

In order and in tiers.

Bowers

Sanders

Stover

All

Sinnott

Theo Johnson

McLachlan

I think Sinnott is going to be sneaky good.

Interesting that both Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan have evaluated Jayden Daniels ahead of Caleb Williams.  Have to say I agree, and Kirwan also said today he wouldn’t be surprised if Williams tells the Bears he doesn’t want to play there.

I would not be completely shocked if we hear about a pick swap at #1 and 2, either on the clock or just before

me too. Video I think I posted in here compared him to LaPorta in the way he is used. Everywhere.

And he is already the best run blocker at TE position.

I also think All could be a beast but there are injury concerns that have held his stock down.

Will McDonald, Quinnen Williams, Haason Reddick, Javon Kinlaw, Jermaine Johnson...that's a helluva DL and pass rush group. Howie and the Eagles might prioritize DL, but boy the Eagles DL doesn't compare to that.

Howie just doesn't seem to have a good feel or vision for the defense.

What about the 65th guy?

I wanted them to get McDonald's.

I agree with him.  The difference is fairly razor thin in that range.   Top 5 versus top 20 versus top 35... that's a wider difference.  But... 35 to 60... that's roughly the same.  Opinions will vary widely between those 25 players about who should be rated higher than who, etc.  Not that crazy a statement at all.

I miss Hoskins.

Back in the day, this was common place... and back in the day, 2nd basemen knew how to get off the bag faster to protect themself.

Everyone…well not Howie…is underestimating the fall off Reddick is about to have.

Sometimes I lose faith in Howie and unpopular moves like this restore my faith in the vision

We just committed to the 2 fastest edge rushers in the nfl and gained picks and cap space.

I personally dont think Reddick is about to fall off a cliff.

But the fact that suddenly it looks like the eagles were desperate to get rid of him should be concerning to Jets fans who are probably too excited to see the whole picture.

Right now those people probably want to celebrate that it seems their GM is finally the guy to get the best of Howie.

And, Reddick may still give them at least 2 really good years as I think he would have here.

But... there must be some major red flag that scared the eagles off. Maybe it was performance related. Maybe it was work ethic? Maybe it was locker room fit? I dont know, but it had to be something. Because if not, you dont just trade him for this price. You just let him play the final year because he is more valuable than a 3rd round pick 3 drafts away.

I don't think I've ever been so disconnected from a new generation. I don't understand the push for men to do this. I'm not offended by it, I just don't understand it or ever will think it looks good for a man to paint his nails. Part of the disconnect in generations is they think someone not liking what they do is being offended or hateful when it's just a different taste and not liking how it looks. I don't hate Caleb Williams for what he does, I just don't get it or think it looks good. I also think it's weird for men to paint their nails. It's not OK think things are weird anymore either. Sorry, there's a lot of weird stuff considered acceptable now. I think it's funny when they argue well Dennis Rodman did it, or 80s glam rock bands did it...guess what, they were all whacked out of their minds.

I don't understand it either.

But previous generations did it too. 80s glam rock bands, hard rock/punk/goth painted nails black, etc.

Even then, black nail polish was just edgy. And they had other things like the leather, chains. tattoos. cigs. drugs. women... all sorts of other accessories to make them look "cool".

Now, "guys" use other colors. Not just black to look edgy. Colors to look feminine. They arent trying to do anything else, accessorizing to look cool. They think looking feminine looks cool. If anything, theyre accessorizing with purses or women's clothing.

Well, Howie said the Eagles have to play the younger players. Nolan Smith will get his opportunity.  That, the Huff signing and pretty much guaranteeing high value than the comp pick, if any, makes me like this trade.  Reddick can’t cover.  He was out of place playing OLB or SAM and is a bit light for a DE.  Huff isn’t the Reddick replacement, Smith is.  Huff is the Sweat replacement.  I would have probably preferred Reddick play out his contract but the deal works too.  By the time the Eagles play Reddick again, he’ll be three years older.

Probably seeking pickleball tips.

What a day. Diamond Club tix for Opening Day to watch Topper blow the game, and then find out Reddick got traded for a pick two years from now during the 6th inning.

It was nice to see Charlie doing so well though.  It got bad after the 6th inning.
