I consider elite being top 5 in sacks at his position over the last 4 seasons. He produces and he's done it over multiple seasons. What other criteria do I need? He's averaged 12.5 sacks per season over the last 4 years and it would be higher if he didn't break his thumb and Patricia didn't ruin the defense.

The amount of disrespect Reddick gets is crazy and it's only because the Eagles traded him. If the Eagles signed him to an extension a year ago and someone posted that Reddick was overrated people would jump down their throats. Reddick in his short time with the Eagles was the best pure pass rusher the team has had since Reggie White and he single-handedly won them an NFC Championship game. In a city where we don't have a ton of great NFCCG moments, he came into that game and broke the Niners. And a year later the slander against the guy is absolutely ridiculous.

People are just ready to eat up whatever the Eagles are selling.

As Bill Walsh once said to Dwight Clark ….

”I only want you for the good years”

Ok I love the Barkley deal

I just find it disheartening when in the blog during the season for the first 3 weeks it was "Damn, Reddick's hand clearly affecting him, not able to get any pressure with that cast on." And at the end of the season it's "I hate Matt Patricia, dude's a total loser and we brought this guy in and he's completely ruined our season and he has Reddick dropping into coverage on the first play of the game" and posters are posting video breakdowns from Shane Haff and Baldy and Emmanuel Ocho of them eviscerating how bad Matt Patricia is and how foolishly he's using Reddick and other players.

And now all of a sudden it's a change of heart and people are holding those games against Reddick now. There wasn't any of this energy during the season.

They can't wait one year when they can also get rid of slay, bradberry, and BG?

Who knows but I've seen the age argument a few times against Reddick as if we didn't already have aging players

First win in the books for the Phils.

For a more optimistic discussion of thr season these are my early guesses of season stats for some of our offensive players.

Hurts: 33 TD passes, 67.6%, 4,370 passing yards, 8 interceptions, 103.9 QB rating, 543 rushing yards & 7 rushing TDs.

Saquon Barkley: 1,440 rushing yards, 339 receiving yards, 13 rushing touchdowns & 3 receiving touchdowns.

AJ Brown: 95 receptions, 1,340 receiving yards and 12 TDs.

DeVonta Smith: 101 receptions, 1,404 receiving yards and 10 TDs.

Dallas Goedert: 64 receptions, 764 receiving yards and 4 TDs.

Would have gladly given reddick a bump and let BG go

I wouldn't mind Hurts rushing lowered and Barkley's higher

BG is one of those sentimental keeps so I never expected Howie to let him go

Hope NC St. can pull this out.  None of my teams left in the tourney means only one thing...Lose Duke Lose!!

Pulling for purdue now but hell of a run by NC state. Big dude can play

You've gotta wait until 2026 for those.

So Rashee Rice has to be suspended for a significant amount of time no? Still evading the police after this mess. Chiefs just locked themselves in Ladd McConkey or Xavier Worthy.

It’s not just age; it’s age and salary.

Face it, last year’s defense was old and slow. And expensive. If you have bad it had better be cheap. Reddick may not have been the worst or the oldest DL but he was the most expensive going forward.

If you're upset that Reddick is not an Eagle in 2024, be mad at Haasan. He choose money over winning, which is his right.

I don’t know if it’s just that. The culture at the end of the season last year seemed horrible. It felt like he was OK with being gone

Hopefully Barkley is giving some tips on throwing the football.

I’m just glad we don’t have any players coming off a good rookie season who would do something so dumb.

And picking up blitzes, and reading him the user manual on a Microsoft surface pro, and smiling, and cheering, and rooting,

A lot of the mock drafts I've seen, it seems like the Eagles' 2nds are in the sweet spot for WRs. To the point that they seem BPA almost every time. I don't expect them to make both picks, but if they do...

What do we think about a WR in the 2nd?
