This information has been making the rounds. Don't recall hearing it before, now it's twice in two days, first Wulf, now Kempski.

I think DeJean is the backup plan if one of the OTs we like isn’t there. We brought in Guyton and DeJean for visits. I think we will like Mims and Suamataia as well.

It makes sense and I've mentioned this before. The Eagles are in a super bowl window right now, so they may push to draft for more immediate impact rather than for development. If they are pushing, it doesn't make a lot of sense to draft a OT in the first to have them sit or play out of position for a few years. They need that impact now.

Give me your most realistic best case scenario if we don't trade and pick at 22, 50, and 53

Cooper DeJean is holding his pro day on Monday.  Same day as the eclipse.  I'm sure there is a white joke in there somewhere

Sure. Down the line. There are a million WRs every year. Of course that doesn’t mean we will pick the right one. So if the Eagles project Bowers as a stud slot who will block well enough for teams to honor, why not take him? Stacking good players on your roster is a pretty good thing.

I mean, there is no guarantee with any prospect. But if you have the choice of Bowers or a WR like Brian Thomas, I’m going with Thomas every time. He has pro bowl potential at receiver and can operate as a deep threat even with Brown and Smith.

DeJean, Beebe, Roman Wilson.

I love DeJean as a zone corner. I  assume we’re drafting someone to be our starting RG and Steen moves to swing tackle. Wilson has inside-outside versatility and adds speed to the offense.

I don’t think either will get to 22, but Bowers is the better prospect.

22 — CB Quinyon Mitchell

50 — OT Kingsley Suamataia

53 — LB Edgerrin Cooper

I don’t expect any of them to be available at those spots, but there is a chance each one of them could fall into that range. This would basically be a perfect storm situation.

What I would say though about ESP comment is that everyone is picking from the same group. For the last few years I’ve heard that it isn’t a strong draft but all that means is that the overall quality may be watered down but then it’ll be relative. Trading for veterans makes no sense as that’s very short term thinking. Guys coming to the end of their rookie deals though? That would make some sense.

The flipside is also that if it is a weak draft, what teams are going to really value the picks over the players anyway?

This is the WR I want us to draft - Can play inside and out.  Gives me some Justin Jefferson vibes (I'm not saying he's him)

I'd have my eye on a larger prize first.  But if me miss out, I'd be happy to have him.  Very underrated.

I'd hope for a different guard but I like that plan.

Would like:

Wiggins, Troy Franklin, Cedric Gray

Would expect:

Mims, Chris Braswell, DJ James

I think Cooper DeJean would be a really smart pick. One thing he gives you is position flexibility, kind of like Brian Branch but better. DeJean can play CB or S and that helps the Eagles not just this year but down the road. Say Ringo and Rodgers show that they are more than capable of being CB1 and CB2 next year, you could slide DeJean to safety to play along with CJGJ moving Blankenship to 3rd safety.

Or, he's a great CB and you have CB1 and CB2 with DeJean and Ringo ready to roll in 2025.

If they take him in round 1 I’m hoping they just stick him at CB and be done with it. I don’t think they’d take him at round 1 to play safety anyway

Back 7 with 2 of 3 picks?!?! Assuming Cooper isn’t a pass rusher. I’ve not been following this draft at all

I fully expect them to draft Tyler Guyton at 22, and I will absolutely hate it.

Cooper is a MLB. Probably the cleanest product in the draft as far as injuries, plus athleticism, size, skills and production.

22- Bum OT who sits on the bench for 2 years

50 - Slow WR with bad hands

53 -Edge prospect coming off of a major injury

Just NO to Beebe. Short arms, slow. Can't run. Has no chance at OT and we have guards.

Love this group. Suamataia is, IMHO, going to be the best OL in this class - and it's a good one. Well, Alt, but as good or better than everyone else. Needs a year with Stoutland but has everything - explosion, quickness, good frame, attitude.

I would have impure thoughts were we to get this trio.

If Eagles stay at 22, 50, and 53, then there’s no way they leave without at least one lineman…probably (and hopefully) an OT.  My hope is OT, CB/S, LB

It would be the most anti-Howie draft ever if a LB was included in the top 3 while an OT (or dlineman) was not

Beebe was one of the faster guard prospects at 5.03 40 yard dash.  Also the fast 3 cone of the ones that tested

You should love his group of three because it’s not realistic.
