What a Fing game by Maxey. 37-9-11 and 1 freaking turnover. That’s an unbelievable performance. Embiid looked closer to normal self. Hopefully we can go on a winning streak with this easy slate coming up. Sixers got themselves closer to the 7 seed and potentially the 6 seed

Ok I love the Barkley deal

Love this vid because they talk about a bunch of lesser talked about guys. No one that we havent heard of. No super deep sleepers. Guys youve heard of but yet dont get much of the focus of other draft talk shows.

Yea, that part beats me. Seems to be SOP at this point.

Maybe they can make it to the 2nd round. If they make it to the conf finals I consider that a big step. If we don’t, think it’s time to trade the big fella.

If Embiid is somehow in shape, and can last through playoffs... 2 things he has never been able to do- the sky is the limit.

Embiid is looking better right now than I ever expected he would be. Will he get back to his 40ppg average this season? And will he hold up? Those are the questions.

If he doesnt, yeah we cant keep doing this over and over again.

I posted a lot of draft content tonight. This one, I didnt get around to watching yet. Very fresh video just posted 9 hours ago. I already know its going to be excellent. I love the way they have it broken down by skillset rather than just straight forward overall rankings. Different fresh way to go about the WR discussion. Cant wait to get in to it tomrrow.

It's like he does it just to do it now

I don’t think they’re going to trade Embiid  this off-season. With all the cap space they cleared and  have draft picks that they can use in trades to bring guys in. They were always setting up for 2024–25 to be the year that probably dictates what happens to embiid going forward.

being the 7 seed isn’t the end of the world with how the bucks are playing. I still take the bucks but they are 15-15 since doc took over. If you manage to pull that upset and get Cleveland in the second round there’s a path to the ECF

They won't.  They should.  But they won't.

Heel Rock is the best Rock. I don't watch wrestling anymore but I have been watching his promos on Twitter and Instagram and dude's still got it. He keeps in character on Instagram too which is weird cause he occasionally also slips in one of his wholesome business promotion posts lol

I’ve been watching wrestling since I was about seven years old (I’ll be 41 in June). I never imagined it’d stick with me this long, but once my mother got into it, it felt like it’d be a lifelong tradition. She passed away ten years ago, and I stopped watching it for a few months after she died. But I could never miss WrestleMania. We treated it like the Super Bowl, lol. She’d be thrilled to see it in Philly this year.

And I agree 100%; Heel Rock is awesome.

I just have zero trust in Morey to get us to the next level. He’s never constructed a championship caliber team.

Id even go as far as to say he’s the biggest fraud of a GM in the NBA.

It’s not a strong first round, but I like the second and third round and there are a ton of late round prospects with high upside.

I’m not trying to suggest it’s a poor draft I’m just saying if it is then everyone is in the same position.

This is the perfect draft to trade back and accumulate for next year (if it’s better, haven’t looked too much into it). We’re in an odd spot for our needs at 22 because we can maybe grab a good CB or OT but if it’s a tackle idk where they fit unless they can play guard until Lane retires. Trade up for your guy or trade back and accumulate picks draft for me. If there was a quality edge I’d trade a 2nd to move up. We will likely end up with a JAG at 22.

Gonna need a TL;DR on this one

At this point Howie's offseason is a standard dose of "meh" for me.  I've always been a Saquon fan since his first year at Penn State but he's got a lot of mileage on him and he is often hurt.  Hall instead of Reddick might turn out to be a good swap but I'll believe that when I see it.  White is probably an upgrade but doesn't excite me.  CJGJ will certainly make a bunch of plays but he'll miss a bunch as well.  Mailata extension is solid, Maddox a stretch.  Overall not horrible but not moving the needle either.  Perhaps I'll be more positive after the draft.

Unless Embiid presses his trade me button.  Looks like Buddy Hield has been regulated to 10th man minutes while Nurse reverts to his play the starters till they die minutes.  Why make that trade with Indiana to play Hield 12 minutes in a key game?

Not just SOP, but unable to fathom a different structure.  He has a template and he will stick to it, no matter how big or small the void years are.

No, but they amount to interest-free loans.

In a way they’re actually interest reducing loans, as they hit the cap for a smaller percentage in later years than if they did now

Do they really... in this case?

They are 'saving' $0.5M for the 2024 salary cap.  But, they won't use the whole cap, so they will carry over the $0.5M "savings" to 2025... where they won't be within $1M of the cap.... and they will carry that over to cover the cost in 2026 when it comes due.   No real savings that matter.

What would have excited you?

TLDR These WRs are on Hazeltons board :)

I wonder if the next CBA will remove or amend the use of void years in it.  Can see some teams not liking that they are used; especially if they are more traditionally run franchise.

Who would you use as an example?

The most traditionally run franchise I can think of is the cowboys, who have had the same GM since the 80’s, are very conservative, and refuse to sign players in FA because their homegrown guys are more worth the star on the helmet.

And they use void years up the wazoo
