Of course it's real, but, concerning the eclipse, did you know that all sorts of instruments have tried to verify that it's the Moon blocking the Sun and they haven't been able to do so.

The Moon should be exactly in front of the Sun but it can't be detected, absolutely nothing is there, it's like the Sun is eating itself.

Correct. Everyone could use 15 mins of sun gazing per day. My friend Aaron told me that.

That's a different "eye" he's presenting to the sun.

Interesting. I assumed the sun would prefer to eat the moon, considering it's made of cheese and all. But I guess eating itself is also another valid theory.

Our Oline was so far ahead of everyone else’s that we had a hall of famer retire and we’re still expected to be at the top of the nfl

And even this is an understated expectation where Cam doesn’t develop and we end up trotting out the worst RG in the nfl

Davis, Carter, Smith…our last three 1’s.

Yeah, I forgot Smith, but the point still stands.

You can’t expect a defense which was basically completely neglected in the draft over the past half decade to suddenly be turned around by 2 rookies, one of whom was at the bottom of the first, and a second year player.

Davis and Carter are good starters despite their age. The Jury is out on Smith, but we all knew he was a project.

If we look back in 3 years and Smith is a bust, Davis regresses and Carter doesn’t improve then I think criticism is warranted. But framing it as the eagles using massive amounts of resources in the draft and while still having a bad defense strikes me as disingenuous.

I tried the trumpet, trombone, tuba, harmonica, banjo, guitar, and piano and, just as you said, none of them verified a darn thing!

The eclipse glasses worked, though.

p.s. it's weird how they can predict when the sun will eat itself based on the moon's schedule.

There are 31 other teams that are automatically improving their roster through the draft then.  Most of them are picking higher than we are.  So how does that work?  Does every team in the NFL just automatically get better every year?

The Eagles haven't had a defensive player drafted outside of the top 15 offer consistent upgrade in the lineup as a rookie in...what...20 years?  Ever?

Baring a draft day blockbuster for a vet, the core contributors are already here.  Just as everyone says you can't bash a player for sucking as a rookie, you can't bank on a draft pick to make a team better as a rookie.  The Eagles will NOT be that much better in 2024 because of their rookie draft class.  They never are.

You seem to think that players don't leave teams.   Teams get worse because players leave.

The draft,  adding players,  makes teams better.

If the Eagles are worse, it's because players like Kelce and Cox are gone.

Players coming in - makes teams better.
Players going out - makes teams worse.

I shouldn't have to explain this.

Oh,  you're changing the goalposts there - "that much better".

Yeah,  it's smart of you to  add "that much better".   It's easier to argue against a fictional person who never said "that much better" than it is to argue that the draft doesn't make the team better at all.

The draft makes the team better.  It improves the roster.  Always,  unless something very weird.

He's an astrophysicist don't question the sun's hunger. It's like a serpent eating it's own tail. An Ouroboros phenomenon of the likes only VA and Neil deGrasse Tyson can explain competently. Or maybe he's talking about Charles Barkley's stint in Phoenix I don't know man.

I mean, in CVON, sure — baiting and trolling is the reason it exists.
