  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

You think the sun is real?

Won't lie. I had no idea that Ferris State was a school and thought he made a typo.

Jalen Sundell is an interesting player for North Dakota State. He played center and OT. He is athletic. 6'5'' 301lb. So so you keep him as a smaller center? Add some weight and put him at guard or tackle? His arms might be slightly short for OT at 33 1/8''. Hes a guy with center to tackle versatility. Another one of those 6th year players in this year's class. Likely a very late pick. Probably want him somewhere along the interior unless he has to play OT in a pinch.

@just relax let us know what you think.

I think we  have a tendency to think that smaller OL, especially centers, can succeed in the league. We have been deluded by the brilliance of Jason Kelce. We think/hope that Jurgens can follow in his footsteps. Perhaps he can but he is an extraordinary athlete and even then I have my doubts. I have no doubts whatsoever that lesser athletes cannot succeed. The competition is just too great. Sundell looks to me to be, well, just not good enough. Kelce was really quick, really fast, and totally committed. He also had probably the two best coaches the league had to offer and even then there was a time not so long ago when it looked like big NTs were dominating him. Kelce was 10 out of 10 in speed and quickness. Guys without those measurables, like Sundell, are just too small.

JMHO.

Whatever the sun doesn’t eat, I guarantee Jordan Davis will.

My assumption is that Sundell puts on some weight, about 15-20lbs and becomes primarily a back up guard.  But can back up any position, which would be really nice to have.

I don't really see him as a center, at 6'5".

Jurgens is not small for a Center, at all really.

Weak if true. Tomlin or someone from the Steelers should have told Pickett before the Wilson deal was announced on Monday and that he was guaranteed the starting position when he agreed to terms. Also Russell Wilson is an egomaniac going around demanding a starting spot to sign, dude's played like crap for what, three straight seasons?

If Penix is there at 50/53 and is the top rated player on the Eagles board, would they even remotely consider taking him?

I feel like possibly they would. I don’t see them doing it considering with Pickett & McKee they have two very young & cheap QB already. But Jalen Hurts pick absolutely shocked me & changed everything I know at the time so I can’t rule it out

I think they would take him. It's a vintage Howie QB factory move.

I'd be ecstatic with this. Help for the D and an extra 1st for next year. But don't think some of the guys (e.g. Cooper) fall that far.

Still doesn't explain Pickett refusing to suit up at the end of last season though does it?  I don't doubt the business side of an NFL players career is brutal, and this sequence of events is an example of that, but I've watched plenty of QB's get benched and take it a boatload better than Pickett did last year.

Treat your team like that, don't be surprised if the team isn't that bothered about your feelings when a chance to change directions comes up.

I think it’s a numbers game there. In 2020 the other guy was Sudfeld; Today we have both Pickett and McKee. I don’t believe they’d draft a QB unless they were comfortable with McKee being picked off the PS. And even then we have Pickett as the developmental backup. Even if you’re developing a player, you don’t draft someone in the second round with the intention of them being inactive for years on game day.

Couple of questions, when the the Moon is in its half-moon phase, is the other half there?  If so, has there been any sort of instrument that can detect it?  When the half-moon phase can be seen during daylight (both the Sun and Moon are in the sky), where's the other half of the Moon and why can't we see if the Sun is illuminating it?

During the conjunction (when there's no Moon visible every month), is it there, has anyone been able to detect it during conjunction.  BTW, the eclipse occurs during conjunction, just prior to the New Moon (that first sliver of the Moon during its waxing phase)  Here's the really strange thing, during the eclipse both the Moon and the Sun are in the sky but the Moon is never seen approaching the Sun until we see the Sun beginning to turn black.

Point being, those two bodies of light are mysterious and it's OK to admit that we have no idea what's going on.

But we do know what's going on, the orbits of the planets and moons of the solar system are established scientific fact, as are the behaviors of light and they can be described accurately by your local high school astronomy and physics clubs.

Your question is like asking why don't people in Australia fall off the ground if they're on the bottom of the Earth.

I don't think they take a QB in the second round regardless, the only way I see a QB is if someone like Nix slides to Day 3, because he'd be worth a shot there, or someone like Rattler late on Day 3 I could see a flyer.
