He's probably exhausted all his NFL contacts at this point, so I wouldn't be shocked.

The longer we go without any news, I'm almost certain that he's coming back which is going to be a critical mistake for this organization down the road. 

We're not going to be a Super Bowl contender next season, so we might as well wipe our coaching staff and start fresh. 

Invest all draft capital into defense, maybe pickup a TE/OT as well.

Joe Gibbs, Paul Brown, Bill Walsh...  tons of options.

Interesting notes on what Manning brought to the table. Obviously Cooter would have seen the positive effects of this first-hand.
