So what about when the Sun and the Moon are in the sky during the day, when the Moon is in its halfi-moon phase, how do you explain not seeing the other half?

Oh boy, I'm in trouble now, paco has chimed in.

Herer's why paco's diagrams are silly, have you gyus forgotten we only see one face of the Moon, as if it's a flat plate facing us, in light (pun intended) of that, paco's sheet doesn't add up.

The Moon goes through its phases regardless of what the Sun does, you guys have been fed a lie concerning the Sun illuminating the Moon, all one has to do is take the temperature  in and out of the shade during a full Moon, you find that the temperature is lower out of the shade, meaning it's not a reflection of Sun light.

I'm seeing Wiggins shoot up boards a bit. I get the concerns but the coverage skills seem great. Could end up being the best to come out of this class.  Could end up Sydney Jonesing it. I'm curious to see where he goes.

I was so excited when we drafted Jones because everyone was saying he was a top CB before the injury

The disappointment

I'm guilty of that one too. Not as bad as my love for Jalen Reagor but still a big whiff.

OL still makes the most sense and it fits Howie's MO the best.  I still think it's gonna be Graham Barton.

But this is the same offseason where we saw him spend big bucks on a RB.  I guess CB wouldn't surprise me.  But something tells me they're gonna rock with Bradberry for one more year and chalk up last year to Desai being awful.

It was a fun 5 months where we all just trashed Max Duggan

I think Bradberry will get every chance to prove himself in camp, but he will have to compete with Ringo, Rodgers and maybe a rookie. There's zero cap savings cutting him this year even after June 1. Part of me thinks they keep him on the roster because they want some of his dead money in 2026 -- so he is a post June 1 cut after the season. If you dump him and Slay after this year as post June 1 cuts, most of the dead money goes to 2026. They already have a good chunk for Kelce, Cox and Graham on the 2025 cap.

Every time you post, you just shed more light on your ignorance.    If you would like to actually learn about this... PM me.   Other wise, good bye.

I defended Reagor way longer than I should have also. That 55 yard bomb in week 1 against Washington had me convinced

Yep.   I had Jones as my top CB going into the draft before the injury.  I was very excited about getting him, but wanted it to be a 3rd round pick instead.  (I wanted Chris Godwin and/or Kareem Hunt that year... and we were in position to grab either one, in place of Jones.).  I would have even been happy with Alvin Kamara...

But, I convinced myself that they HAD to draft Jones that early, because he was going to be that good and it was worth it.     And that's when I stopped trusting the process.   For all the information they have... they still whiff as much as nobodies on the internet.   AND, they neglected to get that information on Dillard and still drafted him.  Which means, we don't have to live by the mantra that they know more than we do.   Sometimes, they don't.   They knew exactly the same amount as us when it came to Dillard... if not less.

I was a poster boy for Justin Jefferson that year, but that bomb to Reagor got my hopes up that he could be an impact player.  Before that, I wasn't high on him at all.  I saw him as a second pick WR at best... and way behind some of the other players available at that pick that year.   I had Jefferson and Brandon Aiyuk ahead of Reagor by a lot.  I also liked Higgins much more.   And if it was all about the speed... I was more on board with KJ Hamler than Reagor.   I'd pretty much call it a wash between Reagor and Hamler.   Both were busts, but at least Hamler was a 2nd round bust.

Light =/= heat, those are independent of one another. Things can be dark and hot, and conversely light and cold.

Heat does not reflect in the way that light does. Put a mirror in front of a space heater, and direct it toward the window of the apartment across the street. Will they be able to see the space heater in the mirror? Yes! Will they be able to feel the heat of the space heater through the mirror? Of course not. Why would you apply that to the moon?

My concern is what we saw from Emanuel Forbes on the Commanders last year. He was similar in body type, speed and skills, but he’s so small that big, strong receivers like AJ Brown will abuse him all game long just based on brute force.

Had some time during a Teams call to do some research.  I pulled first round draft data from 1970-79 and from 2014-23.  Here is the comparison of % of picks by positions.

  • The drop at RB is startling.  RB was the highest percentage in the 70s and almost the lowest now.
  • The impact increase passing has had on QB, WR, CB, and S.  Note the identical movement at WR and CB.
  • Although LB appears to be even, LB in today's game includes on-ball, pass-rushing LBs.  The number of traditional off-ball LBs is down.

Draft picks this millenium. I don’t think CB is on the table. Ringo, Ricks, Jobe, Bradberry, Maddox, Rodgers, Slay…

Also if we drafted DE it’d be for a 5th string guy.

I believe we’re either trading up for a OT/OG or moving back

Also ignored the inefficient reflection. The moon absorbs a lot of the energy

I was so set on us drafting Lamb. I was yelling at the tv for Howie to trade up because I wanted him in Philly so badly. Dallas taking him is one of the most soul crushing draft experiences ever that by the time it was our pick I wasn’t as excited. I can’t remember who I was hoping for at 22, I know I liked Jeff Gladney (oof) & Xavier McKinney. I was indifferent about Jefferson but would have been good with the pick at the time. I did really like Aiyuk but was worried it was going to be a reach there.

I had to convince myself into Reagor for sure, but the speed was appealing. The player just sucked. I preached patience for him way too long & I almost wonder if I’m doing the same thing with Jordan Davis. Though I think Davis has shown more promise in his career so far than Reagor did in his 2nd yr
