Idk why everyone is writing off AJ being gone once Smith gets paid. I can definitely see Howie giving AJ an extension later to lower his cap hit. Eagles are moving on from aging expensive vets and will most likey have a youth movement on defense. The cap continues to go up. If anyone is the odd man out, I believe its Goedert.  He'll be 30. Around the same age they traded Ertz. I expect them to draft his replacement in the next 2 years

AJ will be here at least another 3-4 seasons I don’t get it really either. I imagine they’ll draft his replacement in like the 2026 draft or something like that

I can see an extension next offseason for him. He's already in the conversation as one of the best WR in Eagles history after 2 seasons. He's not a player I want to see leave. Having him and Smith together for years to come is huge for the teams success. Eagles fans were starved of WR play for years. It's been a pleasure seeing both these guys play at the same time

Any old heads remember him appearing on the game show Street Smarts when he was in college?

Agreed.  AJ is just too good.  I could maybe see it if he had a bad injury history here since he's such a physical weapon, but so far so good.

If Howie really wanted to big-brain himself a crazy move, it'd be a trade up for Brock Bowers.  Eventual Goedert replacement and he's good enough to split out into the slot.   Rolling out Brown/Smith/Goedert/Bowers/Barkley would be way too much fun to watch

I laughed at Suggs fearing for his safety

When do you think they'll reveal the new kelly green look? I remember it was reported that the look from last season wasn't going to be the permanent look and they planned to change it in 2024

Hopefully they get the color right.

Let's see how many get this right.  You get 4 guesses on who our 1st round pick will be.. You have to list them now

I'll say

Latham
Fautanu
DeJean
Newton

Guyton

DeJean

Wiggins

Mitchell

I don't remember if it was the color, logo, font, or what that was going to be changed

When are you travelling to Denver this year to watch them take on the Panthers?

There's a reason why European soccer leagues that send teams to the US include Liverpool, Man U, Barcelona, etc. They're not sending Sheffield United.

Agreed.

But to be fair, soccer teams do their international tours largely independent from their league. It’s why they do preseason cup tours and not regular season matches. The only clubs where it makes sense financially are those who already have an international presence.

I know the wordmark is changing but haven't heard anything else is

I would never trade up in the 1st for a TE...ever.

The color NEEDS to be fixed.   It was bad.   Ironically, the jerseys looked much better when wet.   But, that merely highlighted how badly they missed with the Helmet color.

This years first, a 3rd next, and N. Smith for the best young pass rusher in the league? Done.

Yep. Dallas will want more, though.

I keep thinking JC Latham is going to be the pick in a trade up.  Also I saw some dude mention that he ran 4.85 40 at 342 pounds.

Has he met with us? Obviously Stout connection due to Bama

Suggs always seemed a bit touched to me.

Yup. It's not only bad positional value, you are forced to give a bad contract also right off the bat.

And I would agree with him if he called me a p***y ass cracker in an argument.
