It's a pretty dumb tweet from top to bottom.  Scheduling is a league function, not set by the local franchise because (after all) there is also the visiting team and city to consider.  The NHL schedule is largely set in stone from months ago, while the NBA play-ins are yet to be scheduled.

The NBA would need to schedule it as a day game, or schedule it the day before/after.  Not a difficult thing to manage, at all.

hes right that the 6ers are more important, but the scheduling comment was probably made purposely to add another layer of reaction to the post. Of course that part was dumb and I think he knows that.

Hes gonna get weird hockey people all riled up with the first part, and create extra commentary with the scheduling comment.

We've done a terrific job avoiding the Flyers collapse in here.

2023 Eagles-esque.

At least the 2023-2024 Flyers had no expectations and sold at the deadline.

Or .... they could leave the Flyers game as it is, and just play the last two minutes of the Sixers game immediately afterward -- because the last two minutes is the only relevant portion of any NBA game.

You have to realize every single thing ESP says or ever will say is to get a reaction from people. He thrives on attention. I don't think the guy has an honest or sincere opinion in his body. Everything he's ever put out there is done to generate a reaction one way or the other.

What do you think the chances are that Parsons holds out?

its better than 0 minutes being relevant though like in hockey.

That's the key.  There were no delusions of grandeur.   They knew they were playing with house money and they worked to get better for the FUTURE, which is 100% what this season was supposed to be about.

What caused the decline can be debated... but the benching of Couturier coincided perfectly with the precipitous drop in the standings.

I've been thinking about my ideal, plausible 4RD haul for the Eagles and I've come up with this.

RD1: Latham
RD2: Worthy or Polk
RD2: Melton
RD4: Corum

Positional mix, with high-upside throughout. Passed on linebacker as the class sucks and EDGE because it'll never be BPA. Could get 3 starters with our top 3 picks. Corum replaces Gainwell in 2025. Most of them are super high-character guys.

Now, many of these guys could be gone by the time we pick. Hoping for good luck!

How is ESP always wrong?

Fire most of Philly media into the sun

He isn't wrong here are all though.  Flyers had a terrible collapse and will enter the offseason disgraced wnd out of the playoffs.  Sixers meanwhile have a play in game for the playoffs (if they don't end up eith the 6th seed).  Priority should go to the team going into the post season.

For me it would be

Mims

Cooper/Wilson

Lassiter

Mahogany/Coleman

Then trade a 2025 pick during the draft for Lattimore to get a more immediate fix at CB.

Priority goes to the team who already had a game scheduled.    It's not hard to figure out.  The NBA and the NHL deal with these things all the time as many cities have teams that share an arena like this.   This is a nothing story... which makes sense coming from ESP.

Not crazy to me.

He can make all the throws. He leads receivers well. Very accurate on deep balls. Moves very well and can throw on the move. He can take a hit. Played from the gun and under center. Here’s a big one: he’s clutch. Bigger still: he’s had the best QB coaching of any QB in the draft, by a lot.

A lot of people downgrade him because of the system Michigan runs. No 40 throws a game, lots of play-action. However, it’s a mistake to think that because he doesn’t throw 40 passes that he can’t.

He has no holes in his game and he is closer to NFL-ready than any of the other QBs in this draft.

The criticisms of him that seems reasonable to me is that he has one speed for his throws.  Everything he throws looks like a line drive.  Of course, that's better than it looking like a dying duck.

It's even easier to figure out than how you laid it out.

Priority goes to who owns the building vs who leases it.

I think Latham will be round 1 pick in a trade up with Seattle who don't currently have pick in round 2 or 5

16 and 81 for 23, 50, and 161

Round 2 is top CB, DT, or WR available

Round 3 same as round 2

The Sixers want to leave Wells Fargo and build their own arena, and people think the Flyers should just accommodate them😅

Even so... if the Sixers had a game already scheduled, even though they are the lessees, not the owners... they'd have priority, because that's the contract.  It would be a breach of contract to force them to move a game to a different date.

Great man, player, actor and tweeter.  He was framed for a murder he did not commit.

OJ committed the murders.   The police and DA bungled the investigation and  prosecution.  The real issue was that the lead detective was incompetent, corrupt and boob. Whether he planted evidence or not, the jury did not believe him because he lied on the witness stand repeatedly.

Depends on how the Eagles view Latham as a tackle.

It was cartels that carried out the murders.  At worst it was OJ's son and OJ helped him cover it up to protect him.

If he wants to come home, 100%.

Wanted to play around with The Beast some.  This game is a bit unrealistic but got good value trading down with still some decent picks.  Next year though……..
