What a bad take.

Good move signing Uzomah. Now we can keep Albert O inactive every week.

I think Albert may actually be better than CJ as bad as that may sound

So they can both sit together on the inactive list.

How many targets is TE 2 getting over Smith, Brown, Goedert, Campbell, and Barkley?

That's why I've been putting Just the Tip Reiman in my drafts.  Give me that dominant run block guy who can really open up Saquon that has some upside as pass catcher vs the pass catcher who can't block for sh!t

Sheil's 3 guys the Eagles could trade up for:

1. Arnold 2. Latham 3. Fuaga

Solak's:

1. Mims 2. Fashanu 3. Arnold

Sheil's 3 guys they could trade back for:

1. Kool Aid 2. Chop Rob  3. Tyler Guyton

Solak's:

1. Kool Aid 2. Suamataia 3. Jordan Morgan

hes a better receiver. Uzomah is a better role player for the role we need.

a lot of scary bad scenarios there.

Cosell was pretty adamant the guy can't be a stand up edge guy either, he'd be basically a DE here and I don't think he really fits there for us either.

Solak's OL ranking

Alt
Latham
Fashanu
Fautanu
Barton
Mims
Fuaga
Suamataia
Morgan
Amegadjie
Guyton

Solak said he absolutely loves Mims. If not for injuries he'd be higher. Thinks he and Mailata would be amazing.

Doesn't like Guyton. Said his lower half is lean and looks like he's propped up by stilts.

Yes, he fills the Graham role. Barnett used to play too till they traded him without replacing him.  There are snaps for a DE in this defense.

Guess that means RG/RT flexibility
Maybe LB in round 2

so no Mims or Guyton. That is nice to know. If true.

I still think if they take OL it will be someone they project to be the best tackle even if the guy doesn't get on the field right away. I feel very strongly about that considering that guy will have been drafted to be Lane's replacement so they're going to want the best tackle possible. If true, and I question how much that comes from Howie himself, that could indicate corner. Because I don't think they are going to take a lesser tackle prospect just because he can play guard and I don't think they will just take a pure guard in the first round. But I do think CB is strongly on the table.

I like Verse but in Fangio's defense I'm not sure if he's a great fit. I think I like the idea of Darrius Robinson more at 3-4 for Fange. Or Ruke Orhorhoro or Mason Smith at 3-4 end.

Fautanu it is

Really?

What could go wrong?

Uzomah is a good pickup, if recovered from the December MCL is an upgrade over Stoll (4th ranked blocking TE) with better receiving skills.

Was a 4.58 guy a decade ago, probably runs more like 4.75 now, but that's fine for a 260+ blocking TE.

At worst, raises the bar for Albert O and Calcaterra to make the team, and allows them to be more selective drafting a TE.

If that is true, I would interpret it to mean Howie will use one of the 2nd round picks to move up in the first round.  #22 and 53 could get them up to pick #13.

If it's OL that would point to a RT/RG who could beat out Steen.  Likely Latham or Taliese Fuaga (preferably Latham).

Howie needs to get out of the 20-23 range for picking; bad things happen there.  Whether that's trading up or trading down TBD.

Pick 50 could be used on LB, DB or WR3.

theres still a 4-3 style end in this defense. Its not a base 3-4 defense.

I will say, if they take a tweener or a versatile player and that player isn't great at the most premium position of their versatility, it will be a bad draft pick.

For example, if they take Latham and they kick him out to tackle in 2 years and he is mediocre at tackle, that would be a bad draft pick.

If they take DeJean and he isn't good enough at corner, so they have to move him to safety, that is a bad draft pick.

Just like Nolan Smith will be a bad draft pick if he doesn't cut it as an edge rusher and they have to move him to off ball LB.

Yes.  Nicole and Ron had drug issues, owed money and the cartels murdered them for it.  The style in which they were murdered eith the level of brutality is a signature of the drug cartels.

The overkill is more a signature of a personal killing. But keep :fishing:

Yeah, so much better when he trades down to 26 and forces a pick... like Marcus Smith II.
