I mean reebok didn’t have the right color back in 2010 when they came out with the anniversary 1960s one. The problem is the company that made that Kelly Green from the 80/90s  is Russell athletic. So the only way you’re gonna get that Kelly green is to have Russell do it.

that was less a Nike issue and more of the NFL decided in the late 90s that everybody was gonna have a universal made uniform by a company. It’s why it went to Reebok. Meanwhile, before it went to Reebok, they were having team jersey by puma, Russell,  Wilson Reebok. And some by Nike. And really that became huge because Jerry Jones with the Coke and Pepsi issue, which also bled into these teams having contracts with certain companies to make their jerseys

Nike could buy Russell athletic and then use that color. But the problem is Nike doesn’t wanna buy them because they’re not gonna make money off of Russell athletic. Because Russell athletic is not as big as it once was in the early 90s.

Getting the color right can't be that complicated.   They just don't really care about getting it 'right'.

You’d be surprised. its not just an eagles thing. Talked to Arizona coaches their throwbacks have the same issue due to material and who owned the colors to those jerseys back then.

also, Jeffrey lurie and his team of people working on bringing it back has to sign off before Nike goes about making it official. So some of this falls on the eagles themselves who could’ve asked for it to be closer

They are way too light... especially the helmets.   The jerseys aren't awful... and when wet they are good.  But that just highlights how poor they did with the helmet color.   I didn't realize just how bad that color was until I saw it in person.  It looks like a cheap knockoff... but that's the real thing.

What I don't like about the current Nike kelly green is the color "pops" too much. Keep the same color just subdue it a little. We could really see it in the BUF game in the rain. The wet jersey looked good, but the helmets looked like a green creamsicle by comparison.

Still holding out irrational hope the Eagles go Midnight Green/Midnight Green this year. 

I wonder when Morey and the Sixers will finally pull out the Hinkie bell ringing selection.  I've wondered about it for years.  I am conflicted between if they would use it in the ECF in a game where they have a chance to advance to the finals or if they would save it for the finals and if so would they save it for the first eligible finals game where they could close out the series? Whenever they bust it out though the reception would be monumental and Embiid focused to another level never thought possible.

I still can't believe the Eagles signed him.  For most of the season I've considered the Eagles signing him but never thought it much of a reality.  Just something that would make a lot of sense but I didn't think it fit in with their philosophy to actually happen.  Beyond that though he was the most impressive college RB that I've seen. A player I have always wished I could see on the Eagles but never thought it would actually happen. Only had two other players like that.  Ovetchkin and Vick. Ovetchkin never made it to the Flyers but Vick did and it was his best year as a pro.  I think Barkley has a year where the debate will be if it's him or McCaffrey as the best RB in the league and most around the league arguing for Barkley.
