The Masters was ruined by wind. Aww.

Don’t agree.  Wind is a component of golf.  Yesterday was pretty good.  Friday was interesting.  I like the times we see great golfers facing the type of challenges us mere mortals suffer with all the time.  That’s kind of what golf is.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

You should demand they move the event. Sixers are simply more important than Hockey.

Sixers could learn from the Flyers how to treat alumni better.

Greg Cosell mentioned this RB I wasn't familiar with. Played WR as well. Could be a Gainwell type replacement.

That’s wild to think about. I can’t imagine being one of the 50 Rams fans that had to go that long without a Day 1 pick.

They even changed logos, uniforms and stadiums in that time span but didn’t have a first round pick.

Wilder to think that even without the 1st round picks they have just as many Superbowls as the Eagles in that time span :)

More than one way to skin a cat but I’ll take general sustained success over pushing all your chips in the middle and praying for the best.

They don't because the Eagles were more champions in 2022 than the Chiefs were. Any narrative to the contrary is a conspiracy theory.

You don't think the Jets are a model of success right now?

I feel sorta sorry for the golfers, but not for Augusta National.

Decent flyer, but he’s old. Already 24 and will turn 25 during the season.

Interesting to look at how other teams are using their 30 visits. The Cowboys have spent 8 visits on RBs, six on LBs and six on OTs.

Yeah... must be tough to have to play golf for a living.

What's the old saying... worst day fishing is better than the best day working?   I'd guess the same would be true for the worst day golfing.  Feel bad for the fans that went there for a once in a lifetime trip... or for the workers who earn a living off the strength of their backs.   Feel bad for a golfer?   Never.   They get paid quite handsomely to do what others dream about doing for a vacation and spend a fortune to do.  There's nothing to feel bad about.

I couldn’t feel less sorry for the golfers.  They’re professionals and have professional caddies aiding them on every shot on every hole.  Almost makes me sick when I hear PGA players complaining about course conditions.

There’s nothing interesting in watching the field shooting 20 and 25 strokes under par.  They’re supposed to be tested and penalized for poor shots and execution — especially in majors.  Augusta, unfortunately, is usually not a severe test anymore because it gets overpowered by long hitters.

Make the grass longer in the rough, mow it shorter on the greens, and redesign the bunkers to be deeper.

Except when they miss a cut they make nothing

The Rams played in 11 playoff games in that span and are a playoff caliber club for the foreseeable future; I don’t agree with the media narrative that going "all-in” is some kind of franchise death penalty. Howie has course corrected disastrous scenarios in just 1 season, as did LA

😢.  Some of them aren't going to make the cut in ANY tournament.  So, good weather, bad weather doesn't change that.  They choose to play golf for a living, and that's part of what goes into it.

Maybe they should just get a 9-5 if they don't like it.

Never said anything close to that it dooms your franchise. I literally said it’s a strategy that could result in a SB win. But it’s a very boom or bust strategy. You have to win the majority of trades/signings or you sink fast. I’d rather not go that aggressive and have a longer SB window.

Not really.  Don’t like their lack of a plan at QB.  Rodgers will let them down and be gone in 1-2 years.  They’ll likely be good enough not to be in prime position to draft a successor — not that they make good choices even when they are.

Converted recently from WR, so some upside and low miles.

Sure. Maybe he’s Antonio Gibson. A fine outcome for a day 3 pick.

I've been to 3 games, two of them were just talked about in this thread. This game, and the Cardinals game when McNabb broke his ankle. Third game was the BDawk game against the Texans.

Seeing those highlights makes me scratch my head as to why this coaching staff can't get creative in throwing to the RB.

Likely will with Moore and Barkley.

Eagles drafting multiple offensive lineman for sure.

Fautanu or Latham will be their first round pick, possibly via a trade up.

Looks like the Sixers get the 7 seed.

As an avid golfer i am not asking for any sympathy for them. You all have to play the course as it is on any given day. Wind sucks but thats life.

ive been to Augusta once and the issue is if you make the greens any faster, with those slopes, the ball wont come to rest or will be moved when you place it on the green
