As an avid golfer i am not asking for any sympathy for them. You all have to play the course as it is on any given day. Wind sucks but thats life.

ive been to Augusta once and the issue is if you make the greens any faster, with those slopes, the ball wont come to rest or will be moved when you place it on the green

I have great respect for the game of golf but contempt for the Masters. I've said this before.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Greg Cosell mentioned this RB I wasn't familiar with. Played WR as well. Could be a Gainwell type replacement.

You gotta visit the iwtetg section more.  Cossrll had been reading my posts.

This guy has been incredible. At the very least has earned a camp invite, but wouldn't be surprised to see him as an NFL kicker next year.

More than one way to skin a cat but I’ll take general sustained success over pushing all your chips in the middle and praying for the best.

Isn't that what we did for Wentz :)

Yep, nothing about this looks good. Let's take the old wordmark that shared all of the colors, had depth and shape to it so it matched everything else with a minimalistic EAGLES. I thought with them adding this wordmark this year that it would be the first step to a uniform overhaul, but not sure that will happen now. Just bad.

They gave up a crap load to get Wentz. If that's not moving all your chips in I don't know what is.

I'm anti anything Masters except debating.

Revisionist history.  They were desperate to unload Murray... so losing him was a net gain.  Same with Maxwell.  Overpaid, under performed.  The fact that they got anything in return for Maxwell was a coup in its own right.  Alonso was added to sweeten the deal.  But, when you look at what those 3 did with their new teams... giving up those three means nothing.

Then you look at the picks... a handful of midround picks (they had a ton to use), a future 1st and a future 2nd was a 'cheap' deal by NFL standards to move up like that.   Compare that to the RG3 deal the Rams got from Washington.   Night and day.

And, it is completely different from a team that hasn't had a first round pick since 2016.  That's 7 straight years without a first, and trading away a bunch of picks for players constantly.  First to land Goff.  Then to land Stafford.   And Ramsey... and others.   The Eagles had a first round pick again in 2017 after dealing away Sam Bradford.   And the only reason they didn't have one in 2018, was because they chose to trade out of the #32 pick after winning the Super Bowl.    Not even comparable.

So this doesn't qualify as moving in all of your chips. Got it.

I’m about to head out to run errands, so I’m sure this won’t age well ….. but it looks like the wheels are about to fall off for Scheffler.  He isn’t doing anything well but scrambling.  If Morikawa can make some putts the jacket is his.

If not, then one of the first time guys like Aberg or Homa might take it.

I'm about to run out too and I have no idea who any of those people are :)

Don't get the obsession with jerseys, colors etc.  I guess it is fun for discussion.  They could play in pink bunny pajamas for all I care as long as they WIN!

Golf talk and more jersey fashion critiques.  The draft really can't get here fast enough.

Scheffler has something to his game that just sticks. Yeah, he struggling a bit. But I still expect him to win.

Big fan of Homa…he’s grinded a lot to get his game where it is today.  Would love to see him win it

This should spice up the conversation a bit

Sitting at home on a Sunday watching the Masters, taking picks of his genitalia.  The question is, is it verified JuJu genitalia?

What golf is really missing is a rivalry between top players.  Phil vs Tiger was always entertaining.  I remember some of the old Jack versus Arnold, Gary, or Watson and even Seve matches.  It’s better that way.

I thought Koepka and DeChambeau might provide it… But I’m not sure I like either one of them enough for it to matter much… And then the whole LIV thing threw a wrench into the history
