With the talk the FO reportedly wanting an impact now from the draft and the top 30 visits, I'm changing my OT stance in round 1 to OG.  If Steen is seen as the new Driscoll, I can see a developmental OT being drafted lower down with the hope to add some cheap depth.

Not sure DE or CB are on the cards for round 1.

Will likely be wrong though

Scheffler has something to his game that just sticks. Yeah, he struggling a bit. But I still expect him to win.

Going to be tough for anybody to beat Scheffler unless he makes a big mistake.

What golf is really missing is a rivalry between top players.  Phil vs Tiger was always entertaining.  I remember some of the old Jack versus Arnold, Gary, or Watson and even Seve matches.  It’s better that way.

I thought Koepka and DeChambeau might provide it… But I’m not sure I like either one of them enough for it to matter much… And then the whole LIV thing threw a wrench into the history

Give me more Chi Chi Rodriguez.

Looks like the Sixers get the 7 seed.

They get to play at home to win the 7 seed.  Heat @ Sixers for the 7th seed on Wednesday.

Yep, nothing about this looks good. Let's take the old wordmark that shared all of the colors, had depth and shape to it so it matched everything else with a minimalistic EAGLES. I thought with them adding this wordmark this year that it would be the first step to a uniform overhaul, but not sure that will happen now. Just bad.

Looks goofy eith the test for thr name on the back being completely different.

I have great respect for the game of golf but contempt for the Masters. I've said this before.

Yes I can understand that.  As a huge fan of the game, I have a love/hate relationship with Augusta National.  Any true golfer will consider that 18 whole track sacred ground in the history of the game. It’s not only breathtakingly beautiful, but it’s capable of being both challenging and rewarding.

It also possesses a very ugly history when it comes to racial/gender equality

Really wish the bucks would’ve stayed as the 2. I think bucks are teetering on an implosion. Anyway got to beat Miami first anyway. Otherwise it doesn’t matter

Happens all the time. Throwing stones in a glass house and all.

He reads the boards. We've been talking about this for months.

I feel sorta sorry for the golfers, but not for Augusta National.

I really like the Swede, Aborg.  He steps and makes the shot.  No multiple practice swings or looks.  He should be fun to watch for years.

I am reasonably sure, after watching the putting this week that Bubba’s daughter would 1) kill me putting on those greens and 2) should offer advise to a lot of these pros.

No doubt…Bubba would’ve probably been in contention if the Masters format was a 2-person scramble.  That was very impressive

Its funny I was just about to bring this post back in here again in light of this discussion.

That seems to indicate he is quite good at CB.

Seems to — except the level of competition he was going against was on par with that college of the blind Mary Ingalls attended.

The OG out of Washington is supposedly a plug and play pro-bowl Guard from all accounts.

Would make the most sense if looking for an immediate starter is what Howie wants.

He’s borderline unbeatable with his ball striking and his strokes gained tee to green. He’s the best golfer since early 2000s Tiger and on a generational run that only seems to happen once every 30 years. The only way you get him is if his putting is off, which he has struggled with. He missed a 6-footer a few weeks ago in Houston to send it to a playoff. But if he’s just putting average, it’s curtains for everyone else. Especially when he’s making putts like the one yesterday on 15. Rahm might be the only one that can run and gun with him, but I don’t know how the LIV transition will impact him.

Aberg was super impressive this week. Especially for a first timer. He’s got the goods and will have a great career. My favorite swing on tour right now.

Can you imagine that amateur, Neal Shipley, getting to tap into Tiger’s knowledge today?  They were chatting as they walked the fairways every time you saw them.  Nobody has ever mastered ball English like Tiger.  Bet Shipley was soaking it in.

That was pretty cool to see and I like how older Tiger seems to be opening up more compared to how guarded he was when he was younger. He might still be selective with who he opens up to because apparently he didn’t have a strong relationship with Rahm, even before he left for LIV. Maybe that had to do with Rahm being a Mickelson guy with the ASU connection and Phil and Tiger have never been close.

Shipley plays at Ohio State so I wonder if Jack Nicklaus told Tiger to take him under his wing and did it as a favor for Jack, who is also an OSU guy.
