I'm not sure where the fever to instantly fire Sirianni has come from, but taking a look elsewhere in the league, it could be seen as a very OTT reaction to a situation that teams like the Panthers could only dream of being in. The last 7 games were unbelievably crap and there should be a lot of changes for next season

I believe changing everything but the head coach is window dressing. If they think things are bad enough for drastic change just get rid of the head coach. He’s in charge of it all it happened under his watch. I think you limit a team’s ability to change if you don’t change the head coach. Because his philosophies, tendencies, and teaching style will still remain.

But the contrarian in me says. Why do the coaching staff, yet again, eat the firings and negtativty when something goes wrong?  If you wanna clear house, you clear house on the coaching and FO sides. 

There is only so long you can scapegoat one side of the org before smart professionals can read the room about what being HC of the Eagles means. You are there as long as FO need you to be, before you get thrown to the kerb side and another sucker takes over for the process to repeat again.

The next HC could look at Hurts and say, I want someone who doesn't leave the pocket at the first hint of pressure and has a strong arm.  Or does not want to work with a diva like AJ Brown.

It's fair.  But does that means a HC who made the playoffs 3 years in 3 should be fired? It comes across as a bit dramatic when comparing the Birds with someone tike the Jets, Panthers,etc. And why does the GM not face the same feet to the fire meeting and media rumour mill over their future that the HC does?
