There is only so long you can scapegoat one side of the org before smart professionals can read the room about what being HC of the Eagles means. You are there as long as FO need you to be, before you get thrown to the kerb side and another sucker takes over for the process to repeat again.

The front office assembled a potential top 3 offense. Heres what the coaches did with it: the passing offense was 15th in YPG and rushing was 8th. 7th scoring offense. Tied for 7th in total giveaways and 26th in turnover differential.

The front office screwed the pooch on defense this year, but they built an offense that should have been able to win high scoring games. Instead they sputtered for entire halves at a time and turned the ball over at a ridiculous rate. That's coaching, and that's why no one is talking about cleaning out the front office

And frankly, I don't want my QB bailing the pocket at the first hint of pressure (or without it for that matter), and could do without the diva attitude of Brown AND Darius... both of them.  Slay and Leonard. 

Sounds like a new coach would be a good thing to me.

But... anyway, what era is ending if the HC isn't fired?  

I’m guessing Sirianni and Johnson stay, and a new DC.

Really need changes on both staffs with how bad the offense looked for much of the last 6 weeks and playoff game. Defense needs coaching and personnel.

Having a top 3 O and Morrow, Evans, Byard, Bradberry, Cunningham, etc on D should be a sackable offence. Why top load one side of the team and hope the Dollar store D works out, when the players recent history shows it won't? Or the call to release Barnett and not replacing him?

That ain't on the HC. That's on the FO.

You want Howie fired?  Great.  Sign me up.  But if your defense of the HC is that he lead the team to 3 straight playoff appearances, that same defense works for Howie too, plus he has a ring on his resume, not just a runner up either.   Howie has more cache than Nick.   Anyway.... change it all over for all I care, but the offense was just as bad down the stretch as the defense was.  9 points in the playoff game.  Embarrassed by the GIANTS! And the Cards too for that matter.
