Did we fly him in for a cheesesteak?

So if Arnold and DeJean are sitting on the board at 22, which do you grab?

And if anyone posts a RAS compare chart as a response I will find them and kick them directly the bean bag I swear.

Arnold without hesitation, but I think he’s more of a trade up option.

Think the Seahawks will either take him or Fautanu.

T-Rex arms or baby hands?  Tough to choose

One of my favorite RB's , would absolutely love to pair him up with Saquan, but think he goes in the 2nd early 3rd

Definitely would like a guy like him in the RB room.  Walter Football has him as a round 3-5 guy

Didn’t like what I saw when I watched him, but if the Niners like him, he’s probably really good.

I'm with you.  Don't really want.  Think the Eagles have shown interest too so he might still suck.

Looks good on YouTube - potentially a good backup?

I found it funny that the NFL draft profile of him said he lacked "sand in his pants" to pick up the blitz.

He lacks what now?

Funny because it’s true

Ehhhh... I heard the rumors, I still don't see BB coming to Philly, and y'all can quote me on that.  BB is going to want a lot of say in personnel decisions, and Howie is pretty popular around these parts.  Also, this franchise has never been the 'splashy move' type of team.  It would be out of character for Lurie to bring on BB as a coach.

Dallas -- they are a splashy move franchise, and they might be willing to cede some player control to BB, just to say that they went 'all in' to win a championship.

Giants would make a ton of sense, given the fact that there's a history there.  Daboll has been pretty good there, though.

On the Roman Wilson/Pearsall discussion- Wilson doesnt run very many routes at all. Hes used in a very specific way making him a projection in an NFL style offense. There are a bunch of guys this year who, if they end up in a Shannahan style offense they can be great when utilized properly. But Wilson running a full slot route tree is going to be a work in progress.

It might be really, really fast progress because he has all the tools and maybe its just something Michigan didnt do, more so than that he cant. I think thats likely the case. But just on film, he doesnt show you a lot of polish and route running experience. And it might take a bit to learn and develop.

Its been said that when Michigan needed a play, someone to keep them on track, needed a 1st down, the go to guy was actually Cornelius Johnson.

Pearsall has phenomenal ball tracking skills. And something of note- he has a very low drop percentage and you cant forget he played with Anthony Richardson who didnt quite make life easy for receivers. Inaccurate QB. Pearsall just caught everything and made his QBs look good. His YAC is in part limited due to QB play/ball placement.

His yards per route run were higher than some very notable players like Xavier Worthy, Brian Thomas, AD Mitchell... and others.

There are some guys who you can say will be good no matter which team they end up on. Like Marvin Harrison. And other guys who need something very specific like Corley.

Pearsall might be best staying in the slot but is a little less scheme/team specific. You can put him in the slot on any team and he can do anything and everything youd want your slot WR to do. Roman Wilson isnt on the same extreme as Corley, but hes going to need a bit more of a specific plan by his team to get him the ball. Its not enough to just say put him in the slot. Hes also going to need a very specific usage.

This is a really insightful breakdown. Good stuff.

Agree…zero interest in BB.  He would not be a long term solution for any team anyway.  He just wants Shula’s win total.

Disagree on Dallas…JJ’s pride wouldn’t let him hire a guy that, if successful, would get more credit than him

Could see the Giants thing happening…he has history there and could be a good final chapter to go to place where he started.  (Where he started his defensive legacy anyway.  Hard to believe his career started with the Colts…the Baltimore Colts)

It doesn't really matter where Belichick "wants" to go; he would insist on having the autonomy to build a program.  The problem is that building a program takes 3-4 years, even with the best personnel, drafting, and FA acquisitions.  Belichick is 72 years old.  Only a dysfunctional organization who can't see more than a year ahead would hire Belichick thinking he can turn everything around in 1-2 years.

In short -- yes, DAL or NYG makes sense.

That's a pretty common expression for being light.

At least Kenny Pickett would feel more comfortable with baby hands around

I named Peters because he was here and has been celebrated for his longevity.

The list of all pro linemen who are ineffective at 35 is a lot longer than the list of those who are playing at a high level.

The list of all-pro lineman who knew they were slowly going into the toilet at 33 is also a lot longer than the ones who were at the top of their game, like Lane.

Hes deciding when to retire when he feels like it, not because he’s fading. That alone puts him in a small percentile. These guys are unicorns.

I don't really like or follow hockey, but I gotta admit, I think the Flyers could do some damage in the playoffs this year, they're pretty scrappy. Won't watch, but I could see myself tuning in on the radio.
