Ehhhh... I heard the rumors, I still don't see BB coming to Philly, and y'all can quote me on that.  BB is going to want a lot of say in personnel decisions, and Howie is pretty popular around these parts.  Also, this franchise has never been the 'splashy move' type of team.  It would be out of character for Lurie to bring on BB as a coach.

Dallas -- they are a splashy move franchise, and they might be willing to cede some player control to BB, just to say that they went 'all in' to win a championship.

Giants would make a ton of sense, given the fact that there's a history there.  Daboll has been pretty good there, though.

I believe his list is purely about ownerships he’d like to work with. I can’t imagine Howie and Bill would get along at all

I don't really like or follow hockey, but I gotta admit, I think the Flyers could do some damage in the playoffs this year, they're pretty scrappy. Won't watch, but I could see myself tuning in on the radio.

Yeah they were eliminated from playoff contention yesterday

Revisionist history.  They were desperate to unload Murray... so losing him was a net gain.  Same with Maxwell.  Overpaid, under performed.  The fact that they got anything in return for Maxwell was a coup in its own right.  Alonso was added to sweeten the deal.  But, when you look at what those 3 did with their new teams... giving up those three means nothing.

Then you look at the picks... a handful of midround picks (they had a ton to use), a future 1st and a future 2nd was a 'cheap' deal by NFL standards to move up like that.   Compare that to the RG3 deal the Rams got from Washington.   Night and day.

And, it is completely different from a team that hasn't had a first round pick since 2016.  That's 7 straight years without a first, and trading away a bunch of picks for players constantly.  First to land Goff.  Then to land Stafford.   And Ramsey... and others.   The Eagles had a first round pick again in 2017 after dealing away Sam Bradford.   And the only reason they didn't have one in 2018, was because they chose to trade out of the #32 pick after winning the Super Bowl.    Not even comparable.

I also like to factor in what they got for Bradford and what they got back for Wentz.  It wasn't a complete wash, but it was close enough that even I don't lose sleep over it.  And I get pissed blowing 5th round picks on old vets.

Correct.  The Eagles' own pick was #12 that year.   The pick acquired for Bradford was #14.    In a weird quirk of fate pick #13 that year was.....

Sounds like Kraft didn't get the happy ending he wanted from Belichick:

Belichick's leadership style led, in part, to the decision by seven team owners to pass on him this offseason, and the bad blood between Kraft and Belichick was no secret around the league, according to more than a dozen sources close to the coach and owners who spoke with ESPN on the condition they remain anonymous. Both Kraft and Belichick declined to comment for this story. Belichick's longtime agent, Neil Cornrich, also declined to comment.

Ron Hextall better get his act together or they will be looking for a new GM. He can only ride on fanfare for so long.

What golf is really missing is a rivalry between top players.  Phil vs Tiger was always entertaining.  I remember some of the old Jack versus Arnold, Gary, or Watson and even Seve matches.  It’s better that way.

I thought Koepka and DeChambeau might provide it… But I’m not sure I like either one of them enough for it to matter much… And then the whole LIV thing threw a wrench into the history

PGA vs LIV could be WCW vs NWO  when it comes to the individual players in the majors.

Ex:  Use to like Phil.  Now.... F him.

Meh

Terrion Arnold truly is best case scenario. Immediately can play the slot. His Saban experience means he can handle a Fangio system. He just turned 21, so he's still young. I love his twitch.

Why would he fall then? He's just not a great athlete, especially compared to Wiggins/Mitchell. Some teams get scared of a 4.5 40 time.

If Arnold gets to 16, I'm more than happy to trade up. Jacksonville needs CBs and they can scoop him.

I have to watch him again.  For a while he was CB1 and I didn't pay much attention to him being out of reach.

I have a hard time getting excited for a 4.5 CB and calling him the best in the draft.

I'm also afraid of how much McKinstry made Arnold something because teams preferred to throw at Arnold instead of Kool-aid. Arnold held up well obviously but that still says something about who college teams viewed as the better player.

But supposedly he has silly smooth movement skills. Maybe I can get in to the pick.  Right now I'm lukewarm on it and the only positive feeling I have about it is just because everyone else says he's good.

I like Arnold a lot, just not sure I'd part with 50 or 53 for him.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Arnold is the first CB off the board.  I know Mitchell and Wiggins are faster, but Wiggins will make some teams leery being 175 lbs and Mitchell just didn't go up against top competition nearly as much.

My preference is Wiggins because I think he's the best cover CB in the draft, but Arnold is versatile, a pretty good tackler, and can also return kickoffs -- which is a thing again with the new rule this year.

He's kind of built like Clay Harbor.  I think he would be an interesting pick.

Bellichick will never get another HC job, the man's 71 years old and his last 2 years in New England were ugly, you go and find another head coach who was successful in his 70's, Shula, Noll, Landry, Walsh and Parcells all hung them up before they hit 70.

As an indication of how old Bellichick is Mike Shanahan is the same age and retired 11 years ago and John Fox is two years younger,

They can try and blame it on Kraft badmouthing him or GM's being scared he'd want to much power, my guess is that the chief reason he ain't being hired is Owners think that he used up all his winning juice.

I think he just wants to win.  If he trusts the GM I think he'd be fine with just coaching.

I don't understand the hype for Arnold.   He's not a bigger prospect.  He seems like a good zone coverage CB that will struggle against bigger receivers and not be a shut down type player.  He's a better tackler than Wiggins.  He's not that much bigger and probably won't be able to add weight like Wiggins will add.  I don't think he will look as good tackling in the NFL as he did at Alabama.  Wiggins and Mitchell have more upside.
