  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

So much better playing this game tonight rather than Tuesday night.

Clap your hands.

Way to fight back... showed some grit. That will go a long way going forward.

He must be a real pain in the arse if he’s going to plummet in the draft. My goodness.

He got kicked out of Georgia.

Fan Duel says the Phillies have a 88.7% probability of winning against Colorado, even though they just gave up 5 runs in the 8th inning.

I’d put it at just over 50/50 at this point

Comes down to Soto and Dominguez have had this consistency issue since last year. They’ll look good one week then go off the rails for 2-4 games. Soto was good the first two weeks and last 3 appearances has been wild and just flat out not good. They need both of them to be what the Phillies envisioned when trading for Soto and what Dominguez was in 2022. If they can’t they are gonna run the rest of the back of the pen into the ground or need to make an acquisition at the deadline. Credit to marte he’s actually been a pleasant surprise this year so far

Might have to get Chick-fil-A for dinner after that win. After brickin for chicken they went on a 56-45 run

I'm confused by the NBA play-in. If the Sixers lost, they still make the Playoffs?

They play another play in game for the 8th seed

Gotcha, OK. Thanks.

Winner of 7v8 makes the playoffs.  Loser of the game then plays the winner of 9v10 for the 8th seed. So basically whoever enters the play in as the 7th or 8th seed just needs to win a game to make the playoffs meanwhile the 9 and 10 seed need to win 2 games.

I haven’t seen that reported anywhere.

I think Burton has the skillet of a prime Odell Beckham. But I guess he may be even more of a headcase.

I wish we would get some stories.

Can see it now, Penny goes back to the Seahawks, has a good year, Howie takes credit.

I’m not seeing much route tree from Burton, mainly just go deep and get it.  He’s good at tracking the deep ball, which is a talent on its own.  The short passes he catches he doesn’t seem to have much field awareness and doesn’t make too many people miss.

Good speed at 4.45 but certainly doesn’t stand out in this class.  There aren’t any dynamic plays at all other than him running go routes.

He looks like a 3rd round guy, even if he had a clean off-field.  He’s physical but, again, not creative.  He might go top 100 but it would take a lot of work for him to become better than a WR3 in the NFL

Game 3 will be on the same time as the draft.

I think he’s good at winning on all three levels.

Because he bet on his own team and it’s a 2 year suspension.

Such a stupid rule, especially so given the league is sponsored by Fing draft kings and pushes gambling odds all the damn time. Bunch of hypocrites

The off field issues that Burton had was slapping female fans which is about as problematic as it gets, plus his numbers at 'Bama post transfer were solid but not great in a 'Bama WR corps that was nowhere near good enough to excuse them as being buried down the progressions like say Jaylen Waddle, a 'Bama WR1 that doesn't break 800 yards is rare for all the wrong reasons.

It’s stupid to prohibit active players from placing bets on their own team?

The guy has like 0 drops. I forget his percentage, but something crazy low. Pretty sure best in class.

It's even more amazing when you consider his average depth of target.  He's not getting the ball on screens and easy stuff like that.  He's tracking the ball down field,  catching jump balls,  just all higher degree of difficulty stuff.  And just doesn't drop it. He makes really good adjustments to the ball down field.  Good field awareness and body control.  Hands are automatic.

Remember Odell Beckham was a big play guy who surprisingly didn't blaze in the 40 was kinda just adequate, and then continued being an explosive playmaker in the NFL. Some deep threats are just 4.4 guys.  That was Torey Smith as well.  Continued being a great deep threat in the league.
