Pretty happy. Wouldnt expect just a nickel CB without outside versatility at least.

Wouldnt really expect anything from Flournoy and wish we did better at WR.

But overall really strong looking group.

No one wants to trade AJ Brown. There was some nonsense on social media because of his twitter accounts so a few of us decided to just drum up scenarios that would make sense if it were to happen.

Why do you want to cut AJ Brown?

Fine, I want DeVante Parker getting reps.

Zach and Bo both think the Eagles will try to move up. Bo doesn't want them to, doesn't think anyone is worth it. Zach thinks if they do it'll be for an OL. Said he thinks Latham makes sense if he drops.

Kempski thinks they will try to too for that matter.

ESP on WIP saying players gambling on their sports should not be illegal or barred.

Spike: "Should you be allowed to bet for your own team to lose?"

ESP: "Yes, why do you care? No one would hurt their career to alter outcomes of games."

That is the dumbest take ever. And the Black Sox say hello.

I dunno, I don't think anything will ever top "I could luck into a HR against MLB pitching".

So do any of you guys do these things or am I the only one?

a) count the number of hours until the start of the draft and then count backward the same number of hours to see what you were doing at that time. For example, "Oh, that was the other night and I was watching some movie. That wasn’t really that long ago. That’s the same amount of time between now and the draft. That won’t be that long of a wait!”

b) Play the "next time” game. For instance, when you take your garbage to the curb for pickup, you say to yourself "Cool, the NEXT time I take my garbage down, I’ll know who the Eagles picked!”

Just me, huh?

And we are now under 150 hours to go. Under 149 actually. Probably on the clock in about 152. We’re getting there.

Bradberry is the most intriguing guy on the roster. He's bounced back before from bad seasons, and he's cheap to keep around. OTOH, he's older, and it doesn't cost that much to get rid of him after June 1 (0 cap impact this year, and extra $4 million above his cap hit in 2025.)

And as much as he gets crapped on, he wasn't bad all year. He had some really good games, holding receivers to under 8 yards a target 11 times. He was arguably our best defensive player against KC and Buffalo. But the other games were absolutely horrible.

One thing to note, I don't think the Eagles have designated anyone as a post June 1 cut this year. So they theoretically could cut Bradberry now if they really wanted to get rid of him. The fact that he is still on the roster makes me think he is in the team's plans until he plays his way off the field.

I wasn’t aware we could cut Bradburry so cheaply. I suppose if we want to get younger that’s an option. Draft a guy in the top 50 and let him battle with Ringo for a starting spot.

I still have a hard time seeing us drafting 2 corners, or at least 2 corners early. Adding a second guy somewhere in the last two rounds wouldn’t be much of a commitment and you might be able to stash them on the PS.

If we take 2 corners high, I would expect one to be DeJean, who is viewed more as a hybrid safety/slot than a pure boundary corner, in which case maybe we carry 11 DBs total on the 53 man roster with DeJean able to swing between safety and corner on game day and an extra DB not active on game day.

Good lord. He said that?

Latham is just about the perfect pick for the Eagles. All-Pro potential on the right side, T/G versatility, Alabama connection. I'd guess he and Arnold are their top two trade up options.

Warmish take - I don't think Latham is getting out of the top 10.

Awfully disappointed we didn’t get a better corner, but that’s a haul of pretty good players.

I just see no way we use another 1 on a DT

Yes. It was actually part of a package take

"If I had the fastest horse, I could win the Kentucky Derby" - LOL no

"I could score an NFL touchdown from the 1" - maybe

"I could score a goal in the NHL" - probably not but maybe if the puck ricocheted off his face

"I could make a jump shot in the NBA" - maybe, but doubtful

"I could luck into a HR in the MLB" - absolutely the hell not

Dane Brugler was on with Bo and Zach, they asked him if he had to choose would he go OL in round 1 and CB round 2 or CB round 1 and OL round 2. He said OL round 1, CB round 2 because he disagrees with the idea that this is the best OL class ever. He said it's really top heavy but there's a huge drop off and he said if some lower end of the top prospects are gone by 50 and 53 then there's an even greater drop off. But he says there's a lot of CBs he likes that should be there at 50/53.

He said he initially had them trading up for an OT, but had them sticking and picking at 22 and taking Mims because he's such an intriguing talent and has the talent to be the best OT in this class.

I’d be kind of frustrated with yet another first round DT, but my cooler head would prevail — we lost Cox, we use a rotation, Williams is a free agent after the season, interior pressure is the most valuable defensive commodity, etc…

Suamataia is my guy, and I’d be fine taking him at 22, so A+++ on that pick.

Colson, fine with that — expect a solid but unspectacular starter.

Eillis is OK. I’d expect him to be a rotational guy, but I would personally look at other positions here — DB, WR and TE. There should be some good prospects at those positions available and Ellis to me doesn’t have starter level upside. Give me someone like Cade Stover or Theo Johnson here.

Jones I like.

From there it’s a total crapshoot.

How and why is he still employed at his current job?   That's the only question that matters.

Sheeple.

I just started watching it again during my lunch break it's so dumb but entertaining. When they look at Vontae Mack footage giving a football to a woman in the stands, Costner says it was his sister who later died (apparently she had cancer). Dennis Leary's coach says "Boo hoo who cares we're not running an after school special."    He plays such an a-hole the entire movie it's hilarious.

Eric All is a very good TE. Day two pick. No way he goes at 220.

Just displaying my draft ignorance.
