Torn here between Coop and Kool-Aid...... I think Coop could be the smart instinctive safety Fange wants/needs so think I go there. Maybe you can trade a 2 to the Panthers for Horn.

I figure my way of covering both DB and OL would be trading up with both 2s - but that really hurts as I’m set on getting a WR on Day 2 <sigh>.

So here is my thinking on that…

I prefer Latham over Mims, but I like both. I also prefer Suamataia over Mims straight up, but again I like both. I prefer Latham to Suamataia, but they are my two favorite tackles in the class (not necessarily "best” though).

If you were to tell me I was guaranteed to get Suamataia at 22 vs trading up for Latham, I’d take Suamataia without hesitation.

But that’s not how the draft works, so 22 and 50 to guarantee myself Latham vs rolling the dice that no one takes Suamataia? That’s a really difficult question. I really want those two second rounders but I also see a pretty big gap between Suamataia and the next tier of OTs like Guyton.

Gun to my head, I think I gamble on Suamataia. It’s a tough call though.

I would be happy with Thomas.  Both Brown and Smith can plays snaps in the slot, and Thomas reminds me a bit of Davante Adams

One of the character issues with Burton is that after the Tennessee game in 2022, fans stormed the field and he hit a woman. 

And there are times he does some "Grayson Allen stuff" after a play on the football field. Laying on the ground kicking someone, stuff like that.

Trade back 15-20 slots with one of the 2nds and then use that pick for Horn. We'd recoup extra ammo.

You want to trade 22 plus both 2nds in one trade? What about 22 for DeJean then Kingsley or the Yale kid at 50, both would be moved to RG day 1. 

Turnbull’s wife could get it.

Trading for Lattimore could also be an option. Maybe you can steal him with the 4th and/or a 5th...

No, you take an OL/CB at 22 and then trade both 2s to get back into the 1st to address the other position. I think Kingsley or Kool-aid might be guys you target in the trade up.

He doesn’t seem to be an ahole in the interviews he gives, and the woman thing wasn’t like a savage beating or anything… but he’s got to get his act together. He has some Olave-like ability, I don’t think he’s a cancer and would take a chance on him.
