Seeing Dallas go down the way they did made this season great for me. Sure, there are teams left I'd prefer not win it all, but with Dallas out again, I can live with any result left.

Because the league revolves around offense. You can have a top 3 offense with a middling, opportunistic defense and win in this league as currently constructed. The front office struck out on all of their defense free agents because they were off the trash heap. 2 players on defense (LB, S) and dome added depth on the line and this turns into an average defense.

Howie's mistake was letting the entire middle of the defense leave. If even just one of edwards or white stayed, it's an entirely different defense.

Our defense was very much like that in 2017 and last year too a bit especially with CJGJ.  Jalen Carter is definitely like that.  I think that is just the sign of a great defense/defender playing with a lot of confidence and showing the other team how confident they are.  A swagger that usually goes along with great teams.

I’d sign Queen if he reaches FA. I doubt we draft a LB high. I’m guessing Dean and they sign someone in FA. Kid from Carolina luvu is likely out of our price range. But hes a stud

Correct, and people just want to pass it off on player skill, ceiling issues when it doesn't work out 

Carter and Davis are both trending in this direction, only a small sample size of Dean and Smith Jr. to ascertain

I didn't think he should have been fired this year.

However he does need to start the season strong.  If by some chance starts out 1-3 or something like that then it might be over for him.

Eh niners fans are more annoying. At least for me. Living in Arizona they run their mouths nonstop and when they lose they cry about it like their team. I reallY hope the packers beat them tonight. I think it would be hilarious that rodgers sucked against SF for years and then love comes along and beats arguably their best team.
