What do you all think of Blake Corum in the middle rounds? He's what the Eagles love and the Eagles still need a RB.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

In other news... Rojas is starting to connect with the ball a little more... which leads to good things with that speed.

Castellanos also looks good today. Had his first extra base hit of the season.

This is such a fun Phillies team. Easy to cheer for.

From day 1, Joel Embid has never known how to properly land or fall. There was no reason for him to land on one leg after that dunk. I'd wager 85% of his injuries are from him just not falling properly.

He got Bumped in the air

but yes 21 is on the ground far too much and always has been

This week they have looked fun and good. Then again they are playing two of the worst teams in the Rockies and white Sox. Then again they should be pounding these teams

Did he forget how to hit in the offseason?

He’s been awful since game 3 of the nlcs. He was really bad the last two weeks. Hopefully facing the crappy white Sox gets him going.

Wheeler pitching a gem but at 101 pitches through 7. Thomson has to let him try to do this

No surprise... but he'll cool off and look terrible again.    Rojas developing at the plate is the bigger development to me.

Sixers showing life...

He won't though...

yeah i don’t see it either. It’s the first inning where he was wild that’s gonna get him.

Nope, just carried his NLCS series hitting into this season.  He had what would have been a double earlier this year as a walkoff... but since it was a walkoff, it was only a single, because once the run scored... game over.

Even so, it was only 20 pitches... not that bad.

Would be nice to see Stott get himself right soon.

It wasn’t awful. he had two at bats where likely could’ve saved some pitches but guys kept fouling it off and walked one. If he was at 90-92 pitches i think they’d 100% send him for the 8th and determine after that about the 9th. He’d have to have a really quick 1-2-3 inning in the 8th to have a shot at the 9th. if he’s at 114-120 pitches after 8 there’s no way.

White Sox showing why they are the worst team in MLB.    And Rojas, getting wood on the ball... gets rewarded again.

He’s at home so i bet he gets the hit. But really should be an error as someone should’ve called off the other guy

Doesn't matter to me which way it goes... the more he gets rewarded being on base just for making contact will keep him focusing on just making contact and keep him away from that giant swing he's had.  If he never gets another home run... I don't care.  Keep the ball down and make the defense get you out.

Lets not forget, Morey wouldnt part with Harris to get the Bogdanovic trade done. Now, Bodganovic has the best +/- of anyone in this game, on both teams.

2nd best. McBride has a ridiculous +32. Bodgan has +24

Morey has been a disaster here as a GM.

Yes he has. One of the absolute biggest frauds in sports.

Great outing by Wheeler.  Tough hit to give up at the end there.  Harper had a chance, but that was a tough ball.

Damn. But great outing by wheeler. Sucks to not get it but long term for the best as he doesn’t go past 106 in pitches

Our rebounding is so lazy

Looking at potential trades, the one I really covet is Arizona giving us 27 and 35 (1200 points on the pick value chart) for 22 and 50 (1180 points).

Obviously we would have to get lucky for Arizona to covet a player available at 22, but I could see them making a move for someone like Jared Verse or Brian Thomas.

If we could manage to pull that trade off, it should position us to have a chance at both DeJean and Suamataia, which would be a dream.
