Hard not to feel good about the Sixers in this series after this game, they look like the better team.

There’s a couple of issues i see the sixers having. We aren’t a good rebounding team. The Knicks are very good rebounding team. If guys aren’t going to step up rebounding they’re gonna give up second chance points and keeps Knicks in the game. Besides Embiid sitting (and getting hurt) it is what allowed the Knicks at the end of the first quarter to claw themselves back into the game.

also, I am not sure what to expect with Kyle Lowry every night, but I have a hard time believing he’s gonna give you a game like tonight playing 38 minutes every single game. He wasn’t signed here to be a starter giving you 38 minutes. We’re in that position because Melton is hurt. We didn’t use cam Payne. Hield has just not been very good since beginning of April unless it was against the worst teams in the league. Not sure the Sixers can just hope Lowry is going to give them 18 points in 38 minutes consistently. I think we are gonna need Payne to step up and hield to actually do something more than cardio

I think batum will play better. Was a down game. However Embiid is gonna have to play 44 mins a night cause Paul Reed showed he can’t give you quality mins in this series. Was a -21 in 11 mins. He lacks size vs. Mitchell and Hartenstein. Both are 7 foot and he’s 6’9.

as for Tobias, need more than 7 points from him. He is fortunate that Lowry chipped in 18 cause his 7 is not remotely enough and ditto for the bench having 7

I'm ready to put my official draft prediction out there. Subject to change by Thursday if some more information comes out. Looking to continue the streak to 4 straight years.

Eagles trade up for Terrion Arnold.

As long as Arnold falls to 16, I think this is the most likely scenario. Need Denver/LV to go offense.

We’ll see. Season ending injury, no combine workout, and ambiguity over if he can play as a boundary corner is enough to possibly see him drop.

He did work out at his own pro day though, and crushed it.

Even more impressive are his numbers after only being cleared to work out for 2 weeks. He was initially a top 15 guy who slipped a bit to the back of peoples minds behind the other top guys. I think his workout has boosted his stock back up to top 20. We MIGHT have a shot at 22, but Id be totally fine with a small trade up to make sure we get him.

This is just a random youtube comment, but I think decent food for thought. The Alabama OT does not seem to produce in the NFL.

When I see J.C. Latham, I see Evan Neal, Alex Leatherwood, Cyrus Kouandjio....big, tall, slow-footed guys trained by a revolving door coaching staff at Bama. In the Saban era, nine 1st or 2nd round OTs, Zero All-Pro (1st or 2nd team), zero Pro Bowls. Out of the 75 other 1st or 2nd round OT picks from 2008-2020, 36 1st or 2nd team All-Pro selections and 66 Pro Bowls.

Depends. Cinnamon roll one sucked this week. The other thing that sucks about them is you like one and may not see it again for 6-12 months.

Yeah im not a fan of the ones that come in the little pie tins but generally theyre pretty good.

Could be. Or it could be he drops. The draft is a funny thing like that. Several small issues can snowball and cause a player to drop.

but, there appear to be no issues. No reason to drop.

Cam Payne played in the 2nd quarter for about 3 minutes... and was awful.

3 mins isn’t enough to know for he series especially when it was i believe without Embiid on the floor. Everyone was awful with Embiid off the floor.

That’s fine but you’re gonna need someone to take on some of lowry’s mins. He’s not playing 38 mins consistently and being the same player he was in game 1. Cam Payne, hield or whomever you want is going to have too. 38 year old Lowry isn’t playing 38 mins a night and not seeing some sort of decline as the series moves along (and future series if they win). His 18 points is likely more of an outlier. If he could do that frequently then he wouldn’t have been on the buyout market. Frankly he gave you 3rd option type of production while Harris, batum, hield gave you a combined 10 points.

The question of his ability to play as a boundary corner alone is enough to make him drop.

Terrion Arnold- 4.50 is not elite. How much was he made by Kool-Aid McKinstry?

Quinyon Mitchell- athletic. Lower competition level. Almost 0 ball production if not for the one stupid QB that threw him all of his interceptions in 1 game.

Wiggins- very skinny

DeJean- proven, consistent playmaker. Whether you play him outside, inside, he gets picks and scores TDs. Supports the run, has ideal size and elite athleticism. And in a year where teams are back to giving a boost for return ability- he can do that really well too. DeJean is the safest projection because no matter where he settles for a team, he is going to be a playmaker.

I agree he looks like a playmaker, but if teams don’t view him as a boundary corner he will drop. Slot corners don’t go in the top 50 and safeties don’t usually get taken in the top 20.

Safeties with elite athleticism, and ball production are extremely rare. When that comes around, it goes top 20. I dont think he will be a safety though. I think he will be a CB. I think he will have value because he can play outside. But I think a smart team will play him in nickel to take advantage of his skillset.

You dont really see nickel CBs with outside CB size and athleticism come around. As well as his production. Its again, a rare package.

I dont value any nickel CB in round 1. But I value DeJean as a top 20 player. And I dont know if he is the best pure CB in this class, but hes he CB I want most because he is the biggest game changer.

Hes a transformational piece for a defense.

Why do the Eagles need a RB?

Just my personal opinion more than anything. Saquon doesn't have the best bill of health, isn't young and his contract is more or less a 2-year deal. Gainwell is a JAG backup. Would be nice to have a 3rd reliable option.

Ive really been enjoying these videos on each position over the last 2 days. Planning to watch them all. I love this guys rankings. Even if they arent exactly the same as mine, he and I seem to see the players exactly the same on evaluations. For example, he has Cooper as LB1 which I dont agree with. But his analysis is that he is asked to do next to nothing in coverage, and is basically just a spy player. Spot on.

This one is for you @just relax. The OL episode. Tons of prospects covered.

Id highly recommend these videos for anyone. Especially if you have had little time to study players yourself. This guy will run you through almost the entire class pretty quickly.

They definitely need a backup behind Barkley.  Gainwell can't be that guy.

The Eagles were sniffing around Marshawn Lloyd from USC for a minute, I hope he's still available in the 4th somewhere.

The absolute worst, dumbest, thing we can do is trade up for an EDGE. It's one thing to stay put and take a BPA. Trading up for an EDGE in this class with our current roster? Malpractice.

He'd be a DE, not an OLB. We have barely anything at DE anymore.

I think Lloyd will me. Possibly Corum who someone just brought up as well.

I really wanted Corum last year and then he didnt come out. Id still be happy to have him. But Id be more thrilled with some of the more well rounded backs who could be available in that same range. Lloyd being one of them.

What do you all think of Blake Corum in the middle rounds? He's what the Eagles love and the Eagles still need a RB.

I like MarShawn Lloyd much more. Corum is another smaller style back.

Agree. I've been waiting for strawberry shortcake since July. I'm sure I missed it at some point.

He's smaller but not a smaller style imo. To me smaller style is scat back,  quick, usually good pass catching back.

Corum is a big style back in a shorter body.

Maybe it was the UM Spring Game that has my attention today but Mike Sainristil is another player I'd really be interested in. He was brought up a few days ago. I think he'd be a terrific Swiss Army Knife type of player in the secondary.

It’s a RB though. You can find 3rd options as UDFA’s. If they want to spend a Day 3 pick on one it’s not the end of the world but it would be a waste of resources to get one sooner.
