yeah. He would be alright. Theres a big group of guys who would be alright.

Id prefer to have someone like Shipley, Wright or Lloyd.

And if we are just going for some power, I might prefer to wait even later than Corum and get McClellan, Milton, Dillon Johnson. Those guys would be alright too.

Lloyd is my guy. I wouldn’t mind Estime or Allen if they cut some weight to get faster.

Seen some draft guys suggest him as a future nickel. He looks fun, the kind of guy the Niners draft and turns into a really good player.

I said the same thing about him and the 9ers. Such a sure tackler in the secondary. Even their smallest guys on their defense are such sure tacklers. Hes their type of guy.

Interesting that youve seen people say hes a nickel guy. Ive seen him comped to Budda Baker. He seems like our type of safety. Great in the split safety role, and keeping everything in front, playing down hill.

same.

This RB class isnt bad.

It might not have the top end talent, but it seems as deep as pretty much any class.

What's amazing about Allen is that I believe he just turned 20 in January. He was banged up a bit this year and while he put up tremendous numbers, he's not overly athletic. He reminds me of James Connor, which isn't a bad thing at all.

Yeah I think he's the youngest RB prospect coming out. He does seem more of an old school bruiser type but he's got really good vision and patience. I feel like he's being knocked for not catching the ball much but he's shown the ability to do it when given the chance. He's also not slow and not sure why people think that. He looks like he would run about 4.5 or high 4.4s. Just watching him lower a shoulder into someone down field and destroy them is so much fun to watch.

You say you dont understand why hes not more highly thought of. People tell you. And you refuse to believe it. No wonder why you cant understand.

I dont think hes just the youngest RB prospect. I think hes the youngers prospect in the entire draft.

He needs better quickness and burst. His agility isn’t great. I don’t think he’s as physical as his size suggests. Cut weight and we’re onto something.

Haha and you said something that was wrong. I know you think very highly of yourself and your opinions but I don't.

its not just my opinion though. Youre purposely being ignorant.

It is your opinion that you think he's slow. Which he is not. You are wrong. Accept it. I know that hard for you

its a ton of people's opinion. And its not really an opinion either. You can clearly see it.

No actually you can't clearly see it. What are his longest runs and how many has he had? Do slow running backs have 96 yards TDs?

Braelon Allen does.

Everyone fell over on this play. He outran 1 other slow player all the way down the field.

If you cant look at that and realize he is moving slowly, you cant be helped.

You've never been wrong a day in your life have you

@HazletonEagle since you're confused I'll help you. You're wrong. You will never think you're wrong about anything though. You seem like an only child

scouts questioning Braelon Allen’s speed and acceleration will have to wait until later this month to get some answers.

guess what- didnt run at his pro day either. Wonder why.

Quote

Allen posted a 32-inch vertical jump, ranking 18th of the 20 running backs to participate, and a 9-foot, 9-inch broad jump, which was 15th out of the 20. Allen didn’t run the 20-yard shuttle or the three-cone drill.

didnt do agility drills, and lacked explosiveness in jumps. shocker...

He was measured at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, 10 pounds lighter than his listed weight last fall at Wisconsin.

He lost weight to preform well. But couldnt.

Quote

He’ll likely do the full slate of workouts and drills at the Badgers pro day barring any injuries.

nope. didnt. lol.

Does Braelon Allen think hes fast?

Nah...

lol.

190...come on now.

What I meant to say.

190

In college playing against future foreman, truck drivers, and painters? Yes all the time

He can definitely be a boundary corner. That's what he played in college.

But what he played in college and what he plays in the NFL are two different things. Most people don’t view him as a boundary corner in the NFL. They see him as either a safety or nickel hybrid.

That’s kind of the point.

I’m reminded of Jeremy Maclin.

He was one of the most explosive college players in the history of the sport.

But he had 4.4 speed and not 4.3 speed, so when he got to the NFL you just didn’t get those types of huge game breaking plays.

I believe he weighs 190, but that’s not what he’ll play at.

If you’ve ever tried to seriously put on muscle weight, this is how you do it. You bulk, which will add a mix of muscle and fat, and then you cut, where you lose the fat but also a bit of muscle along with it since your body won’t be able to keep all the muscle in a caloric deficit.

So he bulks up to 190, then drops down to 180 or so for a net gain of 10 pounds of muscle, which is really, really good for 6 months of work.

Why does anyone bother getting Ochocinco quotes besides him constantly pushing them out there to try to remain relevant?
