Do we know who all of the canceled visits were? I only remember Rice.

It would be interesting to know if we draft any of those guys.

I can’t remember them all. I believe Kneeland was supposed to but he had too many other visits scheduled to make it work.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

How did he phrase it? We already know they’re getting investigated so the "could’ has been implied for awhile.

"The NFL's investigation into alleged tampering charges against the Falcons for their involvement with then-free-agent quarterback Kirk Cousins and the Eagles for their involvement with then-free-agent running back Saquon Barkley is ongoing and could reach a conclusion as early as this week, per sources," wrote Schefter on ESPN+. "Sources believe the discipline, which is likely to involve draft picks, is expected to be more severe for the Falcons."

Yup.  LeCharles Bentley.   Former OSU center, who decided he'd rather play closer to home.   But, then he got hurt almost immediately in Cleveland and just faded away.

Eckel?   I think he wrote for a NJ paper... Trenton Times maybe. But, also wrote for ESPN or USA Today as their Eagles' beat, iirc.  He faded away, too.   The print media is dying... and he has a face for radio, and a voice for silent films.    Not many avenues left for him.

Mark Eckel talks ancient Eagles draft history…

Welp.

It's just worded that the investigations should conclude soon. In the past all discipline has involved draft picks the following year. The only reason the Eagles are even "under investigation" is because of  Franklin's third hand recount. I'm not too worried.

This stems from James Franklin's quote that the Eagles spoke with Barkley directly at the combine.

Barkley said that did not happen and was a miscommunication for Franklin to understand it that way.

I'm hopeful that the investigation with determine there was no wrongdoing.

If they're caught,  PSU should fire Franklin.

I’m aware of what it stems from. Schefter’s wording does seem to make it sound like discipline is expected, even though he says it’s ongoing.

Please no. Just no. Keep Franklin there forever.

Oh... because Howie supposedly talked directly to Barkley, rather than going through his agent?

What a stupid rule.  It's the "legal tampering" period... but there are ways to do it illegally.   :nonono:

Why do you hate us?   I just want to see good football?  Don't we all win when there are good coaches in place everywhere?

Prediction: We lose a 6th.

I would be far more worried about the Falcons, as Kirk said there was tampering in his opening press conference.

The Falcons like tampered tampered. They should have the hammer dropped.

Suffering makes you more resilient, better able to endure hardships.

I'm an Eagles' fan...Phillies' fan...Flyers' fan... and Sixers' fan.   How much more suffering do I need to endure to be more resilient?

PFF viewer mock draft:

Verse vs Dejean vs Wiggins vs JPJ (OTs gone).

Dejean wins.

I blame HE and his clones

I watched the Jayden Daniels interview from last night with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Whatever.  Daniels seems to be a likeable young man.  Says he will play for whoever drafts him.  One aspect I found interesting is he said he played last year at 205 lbs; he seems more slender than that to me.  Says teams told him on his 30 visits they would look for him to add weight slowly.

I think I’d go Verse given those options - happy with Dejean at 22.

One of the reasons I want Washington to draft Daniels is because he's so thin. He plays like he's Jalen Hurts, without the mass. He takes some of the most vicious hits.

These look awful. For one, I hate the matte helmets they're much worse than gloss. But Broncos uniforms were fine and all these new uniform designs look exactly the same, they look like something made in paint shop pro.

Completely disagree on the helmets.  Matte talents are much better than glossy.  Jets helmets for example are God awful due to the glossy look.

Why does anyone bother getting Ochocinco quotes besides him constantly pushing them out there to try to remain relevant?
