If theyre using a 2nd round pick to get up to 12, thats absolutely for an OT.

If theyre going to like 18, its DeJean.

Joel Klatt's "final mock draft"

He arrives at the Eagles pick and makes a good pick -- but, for how his board fell, there's no way it would be the Eagles pick with who's still out there.

Could also be 16/17 for Arnold or Mitchell.

Not to relitigate Reddick, but Zach also said it's his understanding that Reddick would not have played for the Eagles this upcoming season making less money than Bryce Huff. I guess implying he would have held out into the season.

I believe it

just as likely to be a big bust as well.

You can say that about literally every prospect.

I mean, he shouldnt have. They could/should have just extended him. But maybe they couldnt agree on a number.

sure but not really as much as Dallas. Hes not really good yet. Hes a complete athletic projection. Similar to Chop Robinson. Similar to Guyton. Those are the main 3 who arent good but are ranked pretty highly anyway.

So if the Eagles are likely trading up to the 12-15 range as Schefter mentioned, which OL will it be for?

Depends on what he prioritizes.

If Howie wants someone who can play relatively well at RG and eventually move to RT - Latham.

If Howie wants someone who will be a day 1 probowl level RG - Fautanu.

Crazy hot take...

If the Sixers lose tonight, they lose in no more than 5.    If they win tonight, they win in 6.

Maxey with the flu and Embiid with his knee… feels like every time this team finally got healthy this year some crap hits them

Kind of think that’s who it would be for too.

Fautanu

I would hate this to be for Arnold. Nickel CB speed with Nickel CB size. Probably best as a nickel CB. Not worth trading an extra 2nd round pick to get up that high for.

Stick with a small move up for the larger, more athletic, more dynamic play maker in DeJean.

Trade up for a DE that has an injury history? At least the Howie apologist will be entertaining

What trade scenarios (take the players out of the equation for now) do you like?

I like the idea of dropping back with GB...  22 and 53 for 25 and 41.  I think that 40-45 range is going to be some really good players picked out of there

Im not big on a big trade up for anyone.

When it comes to Latu though, he medically retired. For him to come back, some doctor already signed off on his health. And then he played 2 years healthy and unscathed. So, its pretty likely teams see no big issue with his medical.

If you want to complain about the trade up, it should be that he doesnt have the typical athletic profile of an elite pass rusher who gets drafted in the top 15. Hes kinda just pretty good athletically. Close to maxed out at this point.

I wouldnt want them to trade up for him. But if hes an eagle, its easy to get excited about his production and technique. Should be a plug and play player right away. You can do worse, and draft someone who wont be effective right away like Dallas Turner or Chop Robinson.

If the trade up that far, it should be for Fautanu.

Between Latu or Arnold, Ill take Latu.

He's good, he just doesn’t have fully developed NFL skills. There is a difference. Pass rushers can often get by on pure athleticism, so I see his floor as being as high as less athletic but more developed players but with a higher ceiling.

I think I'd rather have Mims than Fautanu. I think he has higher upside at OT, the more important position. But more importantly, he's 3 years younger. Fautanu being 24 has me put off a little bit. By the time Mims is 24 I'd be pretty confidently he's a better player than Fautanu, and I think if Mims started every game he'd have been a top 12 pick. The only downside is he may be OT only, but even that we don't know. I don't think it's out of the question he could play guard.

But he could just be another Yetur Gross-Matos. Not that high of a floor.

I'd be really really happy with Mims. Probably too tall for guard though.  Little Hurts needs to see. Mims helmet will be deflecting passes.

For some reason, I'm thinking Mims is going to be the guy. First, the physical tools are all there. Second, he went to Georgia. Third, Kirby Smart, who doesn't usually have great things to say about prospects (remember the reports he was killing Jalen Carter), has come out strongly for him. Finally, I feel like this is a guy Stoutland would love to work with.

The upside potential, combined with Stoutland, will be too much for Howie to overlook.

Mims has the highest upside, but he scares me.

He's too damn big at such a young age. Weight and injuries could be a real issue for him.

I think Latham will be the pick in move up... Keep forgetting Fautanu is 24.
