Geez, of course he's calling about moving up, I'm sure he's talked to people about moving down as well.

The Eagles have improved their draft board the last few years, and Howie has more trust in his board.

So he'll follow the draft, see who's available, where they rank on his board, the cost of moving up, the options available if he moved down, etc.

He won't be able to do anything until the first 15 or so are chosen b/c there's no one he's going to overpay to move up - and at that point he'll know if potential targets are available.

I doubt Howie knows what he's going to do, right now it's a matter of information collection so when he has 15 minutes (or 10 or 5 later in the draft) he can make the best decision.

Trying to guess what he's going to do is a fool's errand.

My prediction is he will draft a player that stinks.

What do you guys think of Jordan Magee?  Local kid (Delaware) who played for Temple.  Very good athlete for LB position

It’s not about years left to play, it’s about projecting him forward when the tape you watched showed a grown man playing against a bunch of kids.

I give this a B+ out of 10 Howies.  Drafting a CB in the 2nd round knocks it down from an A-.

Wiggins did weigh 182 at his pro day, nine pounds heavier than the combine. Some of that no doubt was water weight.

Wooder weight please

Is there no draft party at the linc this year?

With respect you're talking about heavily trained athletes, physically there isn't that much difference a 19 year old and 24, It's not even like it's that unusual historically, in 2018 'Bama's roster had an average age of 23

He looks quick at times, looks like a pretty good run defender, he'd be great for LB depth.

Name your top 3 not projected 1st rounders at each of these positions you'd want us to draft.  Corner, Edge, and OL

I would rather argue about whether or not to moon is real than listen to bishing about yet another new jersey redesign.

Arnold has Nickel CB size. Not ideal outside CB size.

6' , 189 pounds. That's good enough for the outside, and has a slightly longer arm than Wiggins. Wiggins is just too slight for me. The slight CB Washington drafted last year was benched. Mitchell is the clear cut 1 but he's going too high I fear. Arnold might be there at 16, that's where I'm thinking they move to get him. If not I really think DeJean brings a lot to the table and should be there after 16

The Texans’ red helmet looks pretty awesome.

I think I'd like the red helmet on the dark uniform instead of the all red uniform

Hate it, Would be very disappointed with this outcome

Latu- Risk with his injury issues and type of injury it was, not interested in him unless its in the early 2nd round which we know he wont last to. Rather someone else take that risk.

Penix- Why? We have 3 QBs on this roster, all young, all under contract. Makes zero sense

Tampa- Hes ok, a bit early to take him at 53

Saw an interview today that John Clark did with Daniel Jeremiah.  He asked DJ to make a guess on what the Eagles will do in the first round.  He chose trade up with SEA at #16 to get in front of JAX, and they would select Terrion Arnold.

He puts the odds at 70% trade up, 30% trade back.  Says zero percent chance Howie sticks and picks at #22.  Also mentioned Kool-Aid McInstry as a somewhat likely pick.

He mentioned if you want good intel on what a team’s draft plans are then call the schools, talk to the coaches and ask what teams have been calling on their players.  He says from his conversations with the coaches, the Eagles have been doing a ton of work on the CBs.

I would be fine with McKinstry.  I am just worried about the jones fracture.  If we pick, his foot is likely to explode by week 4.

What does real mean? If we experience seeing a moon, isn't it real?

I don't Hurts would crack like Wentz did but that'd be a horrible draft pick considering the many other needs

3 guys I like on Day 2:

Khyree Jackson, slightly longer faster version of Rasul but in the proper system here.

Jalyx Hunt, toolsy edge prospect that needs development.

Roger Rosengarten, athletic OL prospect that fits well into a ZBS offense.

I think hes slightly below 6' and 31'' arms isnt very good.

It's real CGI, yes.

I believe we each live in our own reality; mine is different than yours and the human experience is quantified by how we (as individuals) process and react to what experiences are provided to us.  When our time here is at an end, we awaken and review our life experience with our creator(s) and are given enlightenment as to the effects of the various choices we made while on this Earth.

Nothing else can explain why Howie never drafts good LBs.
