Harrison Jr, Nabers and Odunze are going to go higher than I can see the Eagles trading up. So that pretty much just leaves Thomas as a trade up target.

I like him but I just don't see it.

There's a solid chance Thomas is still there at 22, I suppose they might move up a couple of spots to make sure but that would be a head scratching pick.

For those of you who want some good tea. Rickey was first on a lot of free agency moves.

I could be wrong, but Jayden Daniels may not want to go to the Commanders.  He and his agent were pretty vocal about their disappointment in the top golf saga.

Just social media fluff. I highly doubt his career path comes down whether or not he enjoyed his trip to top golf.

What a monster waste of resources that would be given the OTs and CBs that would be available to them.

To be fair surely it's less of a waste of resources than trading up for an OT to play at Guard. At least if we draft a receiver they can play their actual position from year one.

Spending a 1st on an Olineman is just more valuable, for a few different reasons.

Cant wait for MIMS!

The more I learn about this OL class, the more I like the 2nd and 3rd tiers.

I could easily see them going OG in round 2.  The going price for top Guards has risen to the point that a good one on a rookie contract really matters.  Set up your G/C/G for several years.

Further, they have the flexibility to take a guy with tools and let Stoutland mold him into a top lineman.

What’s the drama surrounding AD Mitchell? Removed from some teams’ boards (!).

The hit rate is also based on a 2nd contract with the team that drafted them, OL generally have more longevity in the league so might have a more relaxed approach to extensions while non-premium positions need to hit the market to maximize their value.

Good point

Re: Eagles smoke. A lot of our plans have leaked the last two years. You just have to separate fact (trying to trade up for a CB) from fiction (trading up for WR)

When in doubt, assume ESP's take is fiction.

Gonna make a prediction and this is just a gut feeling more than anything. Amarius Mims goes before Fashanu and Fashanu falls and is the OT who is there in the 19-22 range if the Eagles want him, not Mims. I think some team will fall in love with Mims' potential and take him early. All it takes is one team. And every year some player falls and I have a feeling it might be Fashanu. Viewed as the least versatile, some teams may be scared of his small hands.

I see a lot of o-line needy teams ahead and behind the Eagles. I am not sure he falls to that range we would be the only team looking to trade up for him.

Mitchell is best case scenario for me. I’d give up 22 & 53 for something like 16 & 102 for him.

I think Howie trading up is kind of a panic move.  I don't think giving up 53 makes sense if they can still potentially pick Arnold or Wiggins.

Supposedly he's diabetic and doesn't take great care of it which leads to attitude issues. Also allegedly has issues taking to coaching .

FWIW it was Dan Graziano's take

Bowers is projecting way too high for us to trade up, you just don't give up that much draft capital to get a TE.

It's not like they couldn't draft an OT next year.

I've been saying this all along, a project OT is a day 2 onward, if your O Line coach can only make stars out of 1st round guys he's not really doing anything that special.

If they traded up to get a wr feel like the writing is on the wall that aj brown is likely gone sometime between 2025 and 2026.

Not if he's part of the trade package

With all of the OL and QB hype circling around there's a decent chance he drops into striking range I'd imagine.

I actually believe if zinter is there at 50 or 53 they’d take him.

I disagree.  We have a hole at right guard and the OT would be able to help out there while also being in place for the inevitable Lane retirement snd potentially inevitable Lane injury.

How does that make a lick of sense, with their defense they're more or less guaranteed to end up middle of the pack minimum again next draft, so they'll either be in the hole for a fortune to keep one of these guys or giving up half their draft for a rookie next year.

Not what I think the Eagles will do, but top 3 things I want them to do. I love none of these options like I absolutely loved the idea of trading up for Carter last year.

1. Stand pat and take Mims at 22(or slight trade up if there). Starting to think he goes a lot earlier though. Keep both 2nd rounders.

2. Stand pat and take Wiggins at 22(or perhaps slight trade down) and keep 2nd rounders.

3. Trade up for Mitchell or Arnold.

Counterpoint, Fletcher Cox left the building last month and nobody thinks we have a hole at DT, even though he took the majority of the snaps last year and the rest of the DT's were already here? We are literally a starting DT down and Carter and Davis offered ample evidence last year that there is no way on this Earth that they pick up all Cox's snaps, but the bigger need is grooming the replacement of a guy who says he wants to play 2 more years?
