Trading up for a TE would be one of the worst case scenarios. I hate 12 personnel and we have much bigger fish to fry than another TE.

This got me thinking about whom I would list. Having lived a bit longer, my list begins with Jim Brown and Roger Staubach.

Elway was a fun QB to watch in college.  David Kilingler and the late 80s early 90s run and gun offenses were fun too.  Charlie Ward and Ronald Curry were both fun college QBs to watch.

In a CB draft with top end talent, Mitchell is the kind of guy who should just be sneaking his way in to round 1 as a small school guy with little ball production in college (4 ints came in game this year), who had a big time showing at the senior bowl to boost his stock.

He played almost 0 man coverage at all, when the guy on the other side of the field played almost all man coverage. So why didnt they let him do that? Questions should exist about his odd usage.

I like the player. I like the athleticism. I think hes a flashy, confident guy with the star charisma of a CB. I just hate the value of trading up so high for a guy who probably doesnt belong there in many other draft classes.

That's a BS Howie has to make a big move dumb trade. He's not that much better than other options. Maybe it's not a deep draft but there will sure as heck be players in the 2nd round worth taking a shot on to help them at OL, LB, WR, etc.

Allbright is VERY plugged into the Broncos. I believe this.

Mitchell, even if it costs 50 overall, solves a so many short-term and long-term problems for us at CB. He's big. He's fast. He's physical. Highly competitive. Clean injury history. Great prospect.
