I recently watched a video of the Giants fan on YouTube with the legendary, profanity-laced tirade reaction to the Daniel Jones pick, and his one comment on this draft which stood out to me was he has no interest at all in Bo Nix.

It's too bad Gettleman isn't there anymore.  I'd love to see a Giants Nix at Six pick -- just to watch another meltdown.

Depends on how the board breaks.  I wouldn't be mad if they went WR if there was a run on CB and OL.  I'd be super pissed if, say, Quinyon Mitchell was sitting there and we went WR.

I really want Legette in the 2nd.  Move up on Friday to get him.  Instant 3rd WR and if he continues to develop we have a contingency plan if we can't make things work with Brown for whatever reason.

WRs I like.

Brian Thomas at 22 (more DeJean or Wiggins, but)

Legette 2nd

Luke McCaffrey 3rd-4th

Which player has more value? The 25th best G in the NFL who can only play G, or the 40th best guard who's also the 40th best T?

The 25th guard is a quality starter, the swing lineman is a mid tier backup.

The guard all day.

The mini-beast is here in its final draft version. A few round projection changes. And a few names added.

Nobody cares. But I put in so much time in with various sources such as:

- youtube game cut ups, and youtube highlights

- Brett Kollman's channel, and his bootleg football podcast with EJ

- NFL Stock Exchange (one of my favorites to listen to)

- Voch Lombardi and his guest Brian Broaddus

-Daniel Jeremiah and Dan Brugler as special guests on some of those other podcasts

- PFF draft podcasts

-AtoZSports

-some ESPN content from Mel and Field Yates

-and draft websites such as TDN (less useful than ever sadly)

-NFL Draft Diamonds

-Drafttek

-and a bunch of draft simulations on ProFootballNetwork).

So after all of that time invested, I just feel like sharing it whether you want to see it or not.

Discussion would be great. Even if you just tell me you discovered a guy on this list that you didn't have exposure to yet and you like him, that'd be a great compliment.

Realistically I know youll just tldr it and thats ok too. Most of you probably havent even made it this far. :howie:

And then he beats the hell out of us like they did last season… with a backup QB.

What a rollercoaster of a tweet

people will be saying suck Penix about some team.

I wouldnt be excited to see the Giants get Penix.

He was an inaccurate running QB at Indiana. He went to Washington and became the best pocket passer in the draft. Then he reminded people at his pro day that hes still a really good athlete too.

He has an elite arm. Good accuracy, and + athleticism.

He may struggle a bit under pressure but its also important to remember, hes only been in a more advanced offense for a few years after leaving Indiana where he was just a runner.

I think people act like hes a finished product. Its important to remember he has had very little time to develop QB skills, and still has a lot of development yet to happen.

Hes good. And I think he can be scary good with a few more years with pro coaching.

Of course if the Giants draft him, that probably means he actually sucks. But I just dont think he does.

Pretty sure Merrill is one of his main sources. Seen them having lunch a few times

Sounds more like the journalist rather than the agent. Very poorly written

Isn't Dan Graziano the same guy who started the Eagles trading up for a WR rumor?  1 day until the draft and he's really just shooting from the hip.

I remember when he used to do the NFC East Blog on ESPN back when they still had decent free written content.

You seem way down on Darius Robinson. Just curious if there's any reason why. I would be happy with him at 22, as he has de/dt versatility and I could see him having a role in a Fangio defense.

Yeah I just dont get that excited by McCaffrey. I made a thread for him in IWTETG back when he was unknown and I thought he might be a UDFA. I think the hype built up way too much.

If youre going to have to draft him in the top 5 rounds, then Im out.

Second best DB ever. Like it or not, I have to go with Deion.

Not a chance. Of his contemporaries, I would take Darrell Green or Champ Bailey over Deion, in addition to Woodson.  For the Ss, I would take Ronnie Lott, Brian Dawkins, Ed Reed, and Jack Tatum (when Jack hit you, you stayed hit) over Deion.  Can’t stomach the allergy to tackling Deion had.  Reaching back a little for CBs, Mel Blount and Willie Brown and two only a few of us are old enough to remember, Night Train Lane and Dick LeBeau.  Hell, if I was picking All Century for the 1900s, it’s Night Train.  My other corner would be Blount.  Albeit, a different and I would argue better game.
