Can't see Parsons being traded for anything less than 3 1st round picks.  If we're going to move to 12 we better be getting Surtain II

So our demand is pick 12 and Surtain for picks 22 and 53?

why does Latham have no combine or pro day numbers?

I don't see any reason to think that Latham runs better than someone lighter?

And if it's because he was hurt,  being hurt isn't is a good thing you trade up for.

We traded up for a CB who wont be dominant, while Mitchell lasts till 23, and DeJean lasts till 25. Also passed on Fuaga, Mims, Fautanu, Verse, Latu. To trade up for the wrong player.

In some ways this would be a perfect draft night for me because it would make you so miserable.

No player in NFL history has ever gone for 3 1st round picks (at least beyond the hoodwinking semantics of the HW trade). Not Russell Wilson nor Darrelle Revis nor Randy Moss nor even John Elway

If Micah was available, he wouldn’t cost anything close to that. It would probably be something like Micah and a future 2 for 2 1sts

ESP pandering to Howie.

There has to be something wrong with the Wiggins zone number, how do you even calculate a 1.7 passer rating? Like Wiggins played one passing down in zone and the QB aimed the ball in his direction but ended up hitting his left guard square in the ass?

Both Surtain and Parsons had their 5th year options picked up. How does that effect their trade chances?

I'd still be perfectly happy if the Eagles traded 22 for Jaycee Horn.

I am not a cap expert, but I don’t think a team that picks up a fifth year option on a player takes a cap hit if they trade them.  I would think the fifth year option salary would just transfer to the team that acquired the player… And they would likely extend that player anyway.  Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.

The cowboys and second round picks with major red flags. A duo with no better name

No matter the pick tonight, two-thirds of the board will be livid with:

1)  That we traded up

2)  That we didn't trade up

3)  Who we took

4)  Who we didn't take

5)  Who went off the board in the top 5 that Howie should have taken -- F'n Howie

6) We're already paying $$$$$$ at the position we took (not understanding that a draft pick is cost-controlled for 4 years)

7) The pick is always injured and will be injured all the time (even though he didn't miss a single college game)

..... and 20 more complaints not listed above

It’s comical to look at now, but when the cap is 400m$ in 2030, people will be wondering why everyone didn’t do what Howie does.

The Cowboys need major offensive line help.  You are probably not wrong as far as what they will do… But what they should do is go oline early and running back later on on day three.

1st round CB rankings according to me.

1. Wiggins

2. Mitchell

3. DeJean

4. McKinstry

5. Arnold

Wiggins is highly underrated.  I don't think his size will be an issue and think he can likely play around 185.  He seems to have better instincts and form than Mitchell.  I would probably have McKinstry over DeJean but for his foot.  I like Arnold better than DeJean.  Arnold is  going to be a good starter.  He's just not going to be a shut down CB. DeJean just looks a little stiffer in coverage than Arnold to me.  I do like the prospect of moving DeJean to Safety.

Parsons for 22 only is a pipe dream, but I'd inquire what it would take.

Here is a good fantasy land trade: Parsons and Lamb for 3 1sts in even years and Brown.

I'll be fine with anything we do.  It's all fun and games to me.  However,  if the 1st round pick ends up mediocre or worse, I will complain about it in 2-3 years.

In the past, I would never be able to see Jerry Jones being smart enough to trade a coveted asset for a draft pick haul.  I still do not see it, but he recently buried the hatchet with Jimmy Johnson. If they really are on good speaking terms again, I could see Jimmy Johnson telling him he should trade Micah Parsons.  Whether or not he would listen to that advice, I don’t know… but I could see Jimmy Johnson wanting to trade Micah Parsons for a ransom of picks.

Wiggins at 6-2 and 185 would be 2 inches taller and 5 lbs lighter than Stingley, and 3/4 inch shorter and 5lbs lighter than Sauce coming out of College, the fuss about his size and weight is a mystery to me honestly. Sauce added 10lbs since coming to the pros, it can be done.
