Charlie Campbell said Dallas Turner has medical red flags and could fall. If he falls, the Eagles could be interested. He said the first part, the second is my commentary.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

He was 173 pounds at the combine.  Where do you see him at 185?

He drank two gallons of water before his pro day.

Howie special

That's very untrue. Perhaps you haven't watched him?

Yes, I have. I know Im not the only person who has seen it, even hear and read it in multiple sources feelt he same.

He will tackle if hes there but hes not the type who sees a run and is aggressively going to the ball to contribute to make the play. As they say he doesnt have the dog in him. Hes a unproven Slay type of player. He has the nice man coverage, likes to give space but in the run support or assisting he doesnt give the effort like he should. I want that mind set of wanting to get physical, wanting to make that tackle and make his presence known. See the complete opt in him.

Geoff Mosher said Wiggins was a top 30 visit.

Mitchell or bust

He's not 185, he's 173 right?

All the college stat sites, ESPN, Wikipedia and a lot of the Draft scouting sites list his playing weight last year as 184-185lbs.

I can see his combine weight and can't really explain the discrepancy, but either way, adding 10lbs would put him around 185 and that's not that small, Asante Samuel never weighed more than 185.

Agreed, I actually thought he was surprisingly physical for his size.

Howie special

Year in the treatment room, year failing to live up to the draft billing and a year as a rotation guy before being quietly traded for a conditional 4th.

I’m gonna say it.

Jason Kelce is annoying.
His wife seems stuck up.

And his brother is just a giant tool.

Come at me.

Also - we’re drafting a pass rusher with low upside tonight. Barnett part 2. Accept it.

Yeah Jason has gotten annoying.  He needs to go to rehab.

Along with 9 other CBs. Was the top position they had visits with. They were all over the place with those visits as well from players in the first round up to late rounds. Not to even forget a few local visits who didnt count on the top 30 list. No doubt they will be drafting a CB in this draft at some point.

He also said Mitchell didn't visit the Eagles even though Mitchell himself said he did

Meanwhile no one else said Wiggins visited the Eagles. They are uninformed hacks.

I can. Colleges lie. All the time.

And if theres a CB who is ranked pretty highly but has been underdiscussed that I would actually be happy with if he was our earliest CB pick, thatd be DJ James.

Good article, reminder of how good he is.

Elijah Jones qualifies as well. James is a year younger though.

And that is why I like the CBs on Day 2.  (The sites with Jones and James on Day 3 may be underestimating them.).  James is a tad lightweight which is why I like Jones more.

Recent Draft Day trades in the 1st round

2023: traded up from #10 to #9 to get Jalen Carter, also traded a 4th.

2022: traded up from #15 to #13 to get Jordan Davis, also traded a 4th and two 5ths.

2021: traded up from #12 to #10 to pick DeVonta Smith, also traded a 3rd.

2020: stayed put at #22 to draft Jalen Reagor

2019: traded up from #25 to #22 to get Andre Dillard, also traded a 4th and 6th

2018: traded back from #32 with Baltimore: gave them our 1st and a 4th for their 2nd in 2018 plus a 2nd in 2019 (Then traded #52 up to #49 to draft Goedert, also traded a 5th)

2017: stayed put at #14 to draft Derek Barnett

Odds are in favor of Howie trading up at least a spot or two.

Appreciate all your work big man but strictly speaking, we traded down from 6 to get to 12 in the first place in 2021.

That was a trade before draft day. I underlined "Draft Day" and everything. :P
