It's interesting how he doesn't include the one guy Stoutland looked gaga over at the combine.

No matter the pick tonight, two-thirds of the board will be livid with:

1)  That we traded up

2)  That we didn't trade up

3)  Who we took

4)  Who we didn't take

5)  Who went off the board in the top 5 that Howie should have taken -- F'n Howie

6) We're already paying $$$$$$ at the position we took (not understanding that a draft pick is cost-controlled for 4 years)

7) The pick is always injured and will be injured all the time (even though he didn't miss a single college game)

..... and 20 more complaints not listed above

no.  I say 3/5th.

I traded all of our 2024 and 2025 draft picks to get up to #4 overall.

Should have traded all picks except 1 so we could draft Just the Tip Reiman.

The fuss with Wiggins is not his weight but the fact he is not a physical player. He is not the type of player who will look to make a tackle. In the end, Hes soft. Great man coverage corner but we already have issues with players tackling. Rather have someone not afraid to get a little physical and dirty.

The Eagles lack cornerbacks who are good at coverage.   since the Eagles have a whole lot of below average cornerbacks,  you'll find that you can find a lot of Eagles CBs who are below average at a lot of things.  However,  what the Eagles CBs are generally worst at are coverage.   So, yeah,  maybe Wiggins is going to be not as good at tackling, or run defense or pass rush.  But he should be good at coverage, and he's fast.

DeJean is good at everything.  Does all the things well,  plays multiple positions.  Wiggins is fast and does coverage well,  and the Eagles don't have good coverage.  Even the LBs, mostly, and the Ss,  don't do the coverage well.  Nakobe Dean,  with a PFF in the average range,  got good numbers for run defense, tackling and pass rush,  but wasn't good at coverage.

The exceptional depth at OL is generally a good thing.  Unfortunately, it also creates several credible scenarios.

 - OTs that would normally only be found in the top 10 will be available in the teens.  Go up and get one.

 - There will be attractive OT options, that would normally slip into round 1, available early in round 2.  Wait for one of them while grabbing a CB or Edge in round 1.

 - Exceptional options at iOL will also be available in round 2.  Forget about OT.  Get a stud OG, put him next to Jurgens and Dickerson, and run the ball all day between the tackles.

LMAO Mosher said twice that Quinyon Mitchell didn't visit the Eagles. The second time he said he was really surprised they didn't have Mitchell in for a visit. I guess he needs to double check that "intel." Imagine paying for patreon for those two frauds.

If they weren't such **** about everything, I'd cut them some slack.

Interesting since he had Latham going 5th overall in his final mock yesterday. I'm fine with drafting an OL in the first round but it had better be someone with G/T versatility. There is almost no point in drafting a Mims or Guyton who are both so raw they probably wouldn't even be the main backup at RT this year and likely wouldn't be in the mix to start until 2026. It's one thing to draft for the future but not three years down the road. A Latham, Fuagua, or Fautanu is probably a day one starter at RG and gives the team the same flexibility by 2026 to take over for Lane. Obviously I'm just speculating but I cant imagine Lane doesn't have another 2-3 good years left in him.

What are the chances we see a current stud player (from any team) get traded tonight?

Surtain?

Micah Parsons or CD Lamb?

Jefferson?

It may not be any of these, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a major current player is dealt tonight

AJ Brown?

Tee Higgins or Trey Hendrickson may be on the move as well.

The appeal of Wiggins is that he is so good in both. Because while one plays man and one plays zone more than the other, they both still play both. Thats where we saw Bradberry get beat in man pretty much every time he played it. And thats where we saw Slay look bad every time he passed off his man to a different zone and the WR got the pass right in that middle area.

Wiggins is great in both. He is the best cover guy in this draft and thats why hes CB1 for me. Add in his ridiculous 4.2 speed while injuring himself- he might be competing with Worthy for the combine record if he doesnt pull his groin there. Add in his physicality... Hes just the best CB period.

I had myself convinced for just the playmaking ability of DeJean for this defense. And I wouldnt hate if they picked him over any other CB.

But purely ranking CB play overall its Wiggins #1 easy imo.

I agree. For me I have Wiggins and DeJean ahead of Mitchell, Arnold, and KoolAid.

My last mock of the year...wheelin' and dealin'

Agreed. However, when you do this for a living like they do it's inexcusable to not know that Mitchell visited whether you or ****s or not. As you said though, to top it off they are arrogant and act like they are these amazing insiders.

I take the stupid route. Pick the best player and only then worry about fit. As far as fit does go we have nothing at tackle after Mailata and Lane. Doesn’t that worry anyone?

I had given up on them, but now that BGN is done, I needed some replacement pods.

Thank god for the 30 second fast forward button.  I had to get past 6 minutes of self-promotion before they got into their draft discussion.

A waste of time.

Not a Steen fan I take it. Or do you think he is a guard.

If you pass on 10's and 9's to draft an 8 to fill a need, you'll end up with a team full of 8's.

Here's my mock draft

1. Your mother was a hamster

2. Your father smelt of Elderberries

3. Have you tried being less poor?

4. If I throw a stick, will you leave?

5. Your face makes Onions cry

6. The gene pool needs a lifeguard because of you

7. Calling you an idiot is an insult to stupid people

8. Your face looks like something I'd draw with my left hand

9. Even Bob Ross would call you a mistake

10. Your birth control of choice is your personality

Some don't like the idea of the 1st round pick sitting until their predecessor retires
