Can’t believe they had their pick of the litter at a position they needed most.

I think that's what I'm most happy about

There's literally no excuses so I'm thrilled. They obviously love the guy

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

They said that about Smitty too.

howie needs to stay away from the draft

Why? He nailed this one

Celebrate good times, come on, let's celebrate!

Best Philly Mitchell since Brian.

CB2 in 2024.

CB1 in 2025.

We can all thank Atlanta for the big ole curve ball. Detroit taking Gibbs last year and the Falcons taking Penix really benefited the Eagles.

Mitchell is a world class person too. Terrific for the culture and locker room.

I would have preferred a trade down but I can’t be mad at this.

We got the only corner with no physical weaknesses.

Mitchell is big, strong, fast and tough.

My only concern is he is a bit boom or bust.

So glad we got mitchel I think Arnold has a small amount of autism

Good, now still have both 2nd rounders. Howie didn't look amped, but who knows. Honestly, let's rebuild that D. I wanted Mims, but figure out a way to replace Lane when the time comes. Maybe he'll play another 3-4 years ya never know. Rebuild this back 7 baby.

Both networks are doing it. The culture of trying to be right rather than be in the moment has ruined it. These dudes have phones and laptops in front of them, what do you think they’re doing? Refreshing Twitter lmao.

No one was talking about Mitchell on the main broadcast and then pick is in and suddenly he’s the only one they’re all talking about lol. You can’t even watch the program without being spoiled.

Bradbury isn't starting!!!!!  :DancingSmileyGuy:

Cautiously optimistic with the pick. The pessimist in me is screaming the first DB taken at 22 overall is a big red flag though

They may trade him for Guyton just to spite you.

I thought the same thing.

1st corner in the 1st since 2002 draft.

Thrilled they all fell so they didn't have to trade up. Very glad they didn't think they were "fine there" at corner. Draft for future not just immediate season.

I thought we’d have to trade up into the teens to get him. Great physical specimen. Looked unreal at the Senior Bowl. Never thought he’d get to 22.

Well, let’s hope he can out instinct NFL WRs, although he does look like he may be able to do so.  Would have been at the top of my pick list for who was there.

Awesome the way the RD1 board fell.

Dig it!

He will be Sauce-esque.

Trade back into the first, get cooper as well!! Do it howie!

7th OL taken isn't a great thing either.

50 and 53 can get the Eagles to pick 24 with ease. Who do we want.

Finally!!! Ecstatic

Thomas to the Jags.

No surprise.

Is this pick a consensus love for the blog.  Haven’t really seen any negative posts about it yet
