I love that kid. I’ve watched him since he played at Marana here in town. Talk to him throughout his time at Arizona. That kid is such a good kid. I’m so happy hes going to GB. I was worried he go sf and Dallas. He said Dallas, SF is where he thought he could go in the first round and Washington atop of the second round was also in the mix.

Nope

We have gotten a lot more athletic in the back 7 with White, CJGJ and Mitchell. Hell, toss in Rodgers too.

No. We were lucky that the draft rolled so Mitchell fell to 22, don't push your luck.

Mitchell has a chance to start as a rookie at our weakest spot, both helping a team get back into contention as well as being part of the foundation for a young defense the next few years.

Sometimes you don't want to get too smart.

Fun fact, Mitchell is a full year older than Kelee Ringo. Mitchell turns 23 in July, Ringo turns 22 in June.

The more I think about it, the more I think if Mitchell wasn’t on the board we would have traded down and been fine getting "the leftovers”.

Mitchell is the only clean prospect at CB from a physical view. Arnold is slow, DeJean is stiff, Wiggins is small.

The risk is level of competition, but you aren’t getting a lockdown SEC corner who is 6 feet tall 195 pounds with low 4.3 speed at 22 overall.

What an admission. 

I'd love to get Zak Zinter at some point tomorrow. Or early day 3.
