Now that they were able to stay put and get their guy, I'm good with trading up in the 2nd. However, I love the idea of making two selections in the 2nd round then do whatever the rest of the draft.

Happens to a lot of young men, and not just ball players. Sometimes the hard lessons are the most life changing. I hope he learns from it and becomes a good pro player and realizes his dream.

Maybe not all the way to 50.  But definitely within a trade up using those fifth rounders we have.

Also, day 2 behaves a little differently than day 1.  The talent curve has flattened out and teams get more comfortable addressing need over value.  You'll start seeing LBs, Safeties, and RBs coming off the board.
